The side effects of the covid vaccines are similar to what is seen in actual covid cases, slightly higher for some SAEs. That’s why the vaccine group and placebo group have such similar numbers.
Moderna actually had more incidents of myocarditis in the placebo group. Cardiac injury same in both.
