This affects us all

He took his ball and went to his gated home.

A little boring now that he left.

@stoneaxe27 @JeffT818 @nthomp all left because they can’t defend this train wreck. How can you defend a “president” who gets startled by the Easter bunny and pulled away from the people by the Easter bunny? Complete weakness.

Jeff defended Jeff’s stupid vote for awhile, but even he knows he screwed up.

Nancy is just plain weak. Just a total fraud. Apparently, mom passed along some of the increased costs of basement living to she/her and that has put a strain on their relationship.

Stone - he stayed deranged for the longest time. Finally, he said screw it and will enjoy the summer of Mary Jane in his fine house by the beach. He probably will play the fiddle as America burns around him.

These 3 bailing tells you November won’t be kind to socialists.

All about race these days. Activists putting virtue signaling above their kids education. I’d be surprised if there is much behind this.

"Sotirin said that as aunting grows more appealing, the role has become commercialized, making it even more popular. It explains the growing depiction of the affluent, cool aunt as someone who can shower their nieces and nephews in gifts, with aunt-labeled merchandise, such as "Auntie" tote bags or "Cool Aunt" sweatshirts, popping up to accommodate the trend."

So grown women find something more appealing as it becomes more commercialized, but we are supposed to believe that all the transgender/gender fluid nonsense has no impact on children as it becomes more commercialized?

The Politico/Morning Consult poll of registered voters found that if the midterms were to be held today, 43% would back a Democratic candidate for Congress, while 42% would support the Republican candidate.

Yeah friggin right…

Big Brother spying on your health….
That was the next step for governments with the one video I posted. They know everything about us externally. The next step of a totalitarian world is knowing everything underneath the skin.

This author backs up my main thought about why Stewart is failing, but at the end provides an interesting take on what direction Stewart could take that would get himself back on the map.

Flew from DFW to Key West yesterday. I would guess about 20% of people still wearing a mask. It is shocking how gullible people can be. Just like @stoneaxe27 or the other leftwing clowns that are too scared to post now that their chosen leaders march us off a cliff.

I'll be going overseas next month to one of the 17 countries (as of a month ago on the aa.com website) that has zero restrictions on the USA (no vaccine mandate, no papers, no negative COIVD test, etc.). Of course, unless it has changed, the stupid USA still requires a negative COVID test to enter the USA legally. That BS needs to change.

I'm hoping there is no mask mandate on the international leg.

Took my son to the pediatrician’s office yesterday. No masks. His doctor said they all had COVID at least once, despite wearing masks all the time.

Common sense is coming back. Amazing to see people like Psaki say they are disappointed. I do like when people call themselves out as idiots.

It is no surprise that Psaki is going to MSNBC after she leaves the White House. Her skill set fits perfectly as a "journalist" at that disgrace of a network.

Infotainer. I don’t know if there are many legit journalists in 2022.

Hey @JeffT818 - something to think about when you retire at 70. The 4 percent rule has been overwhelmed by inflation. In your first year of retirement, they now recommend spending no more than 3 percent if you want your money to last. Sucks, I know. But, that is what we got from all of those morons voting for Biden. But, hey, at least you will be relieved of your college debt! That is a plus for you.

So the Washington Post thinks that by doxxing the Libs of Tik Tok twitter, they would quiet her and shut down the page.

In typical lib arrogance (can't think of a better word), it totally backfires. She gains another 200k followers in a day, the jouarnlist Lorenz and all the people standing up for her look like total idiots and scum, and just makes account like that stronger and willing to shine a bigger light on all the groomers out there.

It has been fascinating to just watch move after move backfire. Libs are about to lose their sht even more than I thought humanly possible, I love it. This is what happens when you try to empower a such a small but loud group of people.

I feel terribly for regular Democrats, which is the great majority. But on the bright side, a lot will just move over to the Republican party.

Great post until you said you feel sorry for 'regular Democrats'. Honestly, the remaining Democrats are all radicals and anyone who chooses to identify as a Democrat is stuck with their choice (much like Kofi).

As you say, they should switch their allegiance. To be honest, I think their best move is to go Independent. In 2022, the better vote is 'R'. But, a bunch of R's (think Romney, Murkowski, and even Mitch) aren't that great either. I threw Mitch in with those 2 since he just sent $7,000,000 to Alaska to save Murkowski who sure does a great job of echoing Democrat talking points and more.

CNN+ = DEAD in a month. Man, what a waste of $300M. Of course, an even worse investment is to send another $800B in weapons to Ukraine - but that keeps the defense contractors happy at least.

Kudos to the new Warner CEO who took swift and decisive action to KILL this thing ASAP.

No one watches CNN, so why would they watch CNN+? At least @stoneaxe27 will return to the board once this thing dies on 4/30. Of course, he and BLM lover @nthomp will be busy celebrating communism on May 1st! Perhaps a 5/2 return for the pair.

The Colorado Gov seems to forget he lives in a cold state.

Trying to be relevant

The mountain towns in the state are cold, but Denver has pretty great weather. I’d rather spend a 90 degree in Denver over an 80 degree day in Orlando too.

LOL. Shouldn’t your governor be figuring out how to kill babies after birth at this point?

Now, you are being silly about Colorado. I spent mid January to May 1st in Greeley back in the day. It was unpleasant for most of that period and since the altitude is 5500 feet, it isn’t conducive to “Mountain Disney”. Colorado has what, up to 5 great months of weather?

Colorado does have a nice business climate, but no one is leaving Florida for Colorado.

The nice weather months seem to be extending. I’m guessing that Polis would be thinking about putting something east of Denver, out by the airport. Probably more like 8-9 months of nice weather. Pretty sure the zoo is open year round. We have gone in the winter, and there are days in the 60s fairly regularly.

Greeley is a terrible place to spend the winter months. It’s further north and there is not much to do. Smells like shit from all the cattle farms.

Still a lot of land east of Denver, and I’m assuming he would put something out there. There is a Gaylord resort out by the airport that seems to be doing well. Also talk of the new Broncos owner building a huge sports and entertainment complex in the next few years.

Polis is trying to build his national profile as the anti-DeSantis. He has to see that Biden has no chance in 2024, and is hoping to throw his name in the mix. I don’t think he legitimately wants Disney HQ here. Just trying to grab the spotlight. He did lose support of independents with the abortion decision.

I retired last summer (at 57 instead of 70 though) and everywhere I look are headwinds. The 4% "rule" has been under siege for a while now. As an early retiree I targeted 2% for myself several years ago, and it looks like I'll make it through the first year at 0%. Depending on what happens this fall and in 2024, I'll be able to gauge whether pulling the plug early was a mistake or not.

The liberal playbook on CRT and gender identity/sexuality teaching to children has been exposed.

- claim that they aren’t being taught
- see evidence everywhere that they are being taught
- call anyone who questions it a bigot, and pretend it’s not a big deal

Yeah, they all want to take on Ron Desantis. But, Disney in Colorado won't be happening. There is a reason there are no amusement parks in Phoenix. Simply put, from 6/1 to 9/1 it is blazing, furnace hot. You can easily call it 4 months. But, winter is near perfect.

Disney screwed up big-time. California shut them down for a year while Florida was wide open (Universal opened early June 2020). And now their dumbass soon to be fired CEO bites the hand that feeds him, LOL.

Yeah, the stock market held up well for awhile but is showing some cracks thanks to rate hikes. 2022 has been a poor year, but not wholly unexpected after 3 straight UP years. Still, where else are you going to park money?

I guess the good news is you could still do some remote work should you want. An Army reservist I know recently left General Dynamics after 22 years. For the last 3 he was called up to serve in middle Asia. He now has Lovie Smith's dream job! He is working for a Schaumburg based company remotely while living in Scottsdale!

I sure hope not. Denver is already feeling overcrowded, and the cost of living is pushing out the middle class.

The Gaylords I have been to are all in a giant atrium. I have to assume Disney is not building a humongous atrium to move their Florida set up to while their CEO craters the company.

The Co governor is an idiot trying to be relevant.

No doubt. He’s trying to build his national profile. He became popular for his reasonable COVID response. Has been going hard left lately, and that won’t help him.

There is a ton of undeveloped land out by the airport though. Most locals are hoping for a new Broncos stadium. I can’t imagine many would want Disney or something similar to come in.

Sometimes I am really cutting edge. Within 24 hours of typing "Polis needs to figure out how to kill kids after birth" this surfaces on Twitter.

Yes, the Dems have gone there. They want to kill babies up to 28 days after birth (for now). If Polis wants to inherit the crown for Democrats, he will have to push for killing even more babies. He has it in him for sure. "Moderate" LOL.
