There were multiple metrics stated on why the economy was doing well besides the DJIA Before covid saved the socialist cause….. You either know that or are intentionally ignoring them.

For Trump, they are usually revised UP and job reports beat expectations. Do you remember May 2020 and June 2020? Trump beat expectations by 10.8 Million (no typo) and by 1.9 Million. They always forecast doom for Republicans and roses for Democrats.

Taxes do impact the price at the pump. People in Chicago try to get gas in the suburbs. People in Homewood-Flossmoor try to get gas in Indiana.

Biden is the cause of higher prices, period. He kills supply (Keystone), cancels leases (temporarily overturned), approves Russian pipelines, and by reducing US supply gives OPEC the position of power that Trump had wrested from them.

I'm confident he is adding regulations left and right too that raise the price of gasoline. You should be happy Stone, Biden is delivering on a promise. He has achieved at least two policy goals: lots of illegals flowing into the country and higher prices at the pump.
