With all due respect to Fox News, I just don't see any traction for Pete Buttigieg to run for president in 2028. He was mayor of South Bend and then handed out alot of money and contracts as transportation secretary. My impression from what little I know of his views, he is a lefty progressive. Shapiro in Pennsylvania seems more like what the Dems should be thinking about if they want to win but I'm never surprised what they do.
The article concludes that he may run for governor in Michigan, replacing a progressive wing Dem in Whitmer. Sounds much more plausible.
An appearance by Pete Buttigieg on New Hampshire talk radio is fueling speculation that President Biden's Secretaty of Transportation may be mulling another White House run in 2028.
