..and in other news

A Congressman’s stock portfolio grew 42% this past year. What’s an average return? 7-10%. This same Congressman purchased stock in Raytheon just before they received a defense contract this past April. BTW, not Pelosi.

False like a great majority of his posts. He seems to have turned X into a fountain of lies. The bill only was going to transfer the stadium land so that a stadium could be built without federal funds. I think the team owner were going to raise the funds as Elon said they should do.

It appears they are giving the land for free from the fed to a fiscally irresponsible city(for 99 years). We are to assume the land has no value? I assume a stadium like this is worth in the billions?

The language at best is vague in that it sates no federal funds for "stadium purposes". Is a stadium purpose the actual building of the stadium?

All I can find are small clips of this portion of the bill which makes me think the missing language might fill in these questions. Feel free to post the entire language with definitions.

It’s the left who are destroying democracy. They are corrupt liars and totalitarians.

With all due respect to Fox News, I just don't see any traction for Pete Buttigieg to run for president in 2028. He was mayor of South Bend and then handed out alot of money and contracts as transportation secretary. My impression from what little I know of his views, he is a lefty progressive. Shapiro in Pennsylvania seems more like what the Dems should be thinking about if they want to win but I'm never surprised what they do.

The article concludes that he may run for governor in Michigan, replacing a progressive wing Dem in Whitmer. Sounds much more plausible.

Frankly, he's a nobody who wasn't a very good mayor. I don't know why anyone would vote for him for governor.
