Uh-oh Rill, you didn’t believe BigWill and said show you the proof! Well, 3 years later, the CDC will look into it just because there is a link.

Absolutely never said that.

I’ve said all along that heart issues could be caused by COVID itself, the vaccine, a combination, or neither. I’ve been eyes wide open from the beginning, and have even shared info that my company has shared on this.

You attribute a heck of a lot of things to me that I have never said. In this case, I said the opposite.

Pretty sure that clip is from 2023, BTW. This is not new news.

You would be wrong. There are plenty of great Americans who want to be engineers. The U of I now rejects or doesn’t immediately accept kids who in my day would have been accepted a year early.

Illinois sold out. Those kids are now going to UU, UA, etc.

More kids are being awarded Honor Roll now, despite getting worse in most subjects, especially math. If you don’t think America has embraced mediocracy this last generation, you haven’t been paying attention.

The people shouting about participation trophies for the last couple decades sure are upset about this. That’s odd.

More kids major in psychology compared to engineering. If we focused more on productivity than feelings, those numbers wouldn’t be close.

This is coming from someone that didn’t focus on what he should have in college and got a pretty weak degree. Made it a lot harder to succeed.

I started in the real, not Pro sports, world at Saks at $ 10,000 a year. Went to NJSP with a $ 1,500 raise !

We never used day care, we found Ladies at their homes that did day care.

Mom worked from about me at 7 years on , thru high school.

Life goes on....

We loved skiing at Steamboat Springs and the uncovered outdoor heated pool !

Steamboat is one of my favorite towns, but man has it gotten expensive.

We took the kids to Crested Butte for spring break last year and are doing that again. Also about 3 hours from us, but much less crowded. And I got a place at the base for $200/night!

I’ve had my parents in town over the holidays. My Dad has a pretty ridiculous memory, and loves telling stories from the past.

I’m 40 now, and he was telling me how much he struggled during that time in his life. Got let go at 38, when they were building the house I grew up in. My Grandma had to help us. Said he got hired by his current company at 40, and made 37k his first year. My Mom didn’t work and I am one of 3 kids. That’s absolutely unfathomable today.

Of course he said day care cost $50/week. A little different than the $700/week we pay for 2 kids during the summer.

My Dad is a CPA so his mind is always on numbers. I’ve learned more from him than I ever learned in college. Having great parents is so important.

Sorry for the random ramblings, just enjoying this time and thought I’d share.

He is wrong. When the US worshipped sports, they had the #1 education system in the world. Then we got the ED thanks to Carter. It’s been downhill since.

There's a Pulitzer out there for any honest journalist (assuming some integrity returns to the Pulitzer Prize Board and Columbia) who figures out what's really happened over last four years in the federal gov't, especially in the executive branch. I'm not sure we'll even know, but it would be fascinating, and is likely worse than most of us would want to think.
