He can put any valuation he wants as an owner.

The taxing authority ultimately assigns a tax due on ALL properties on IT'S valuation. The owner can go to tax Court and appeal for a reduction.

The Lender also has their independent appraisal prior to making a loan on ANYTHING.

A friend was Head of Security at DB near the WTC, he got the biggie ups OUT, prior to the collapse of either tower !

Had Trump stayed out of the Florida primary, RDS probably wins. By the time Trump endorsed well before the primary occurred, RDS was closing in on the establishment frontrunner (Adam Putnam) in the polls. And there was a ton of time left in the race.

I have no doubt that Trump's endorsement ensured a RDS win. But if Trump hadn't endorsed at all ... the smart money would have bet DeSantis anyhow.

Btw, RDS had ambitions of jumping up from the House pre-Trump anyhow. When Rubio said he wasn't running for Senate in 2016, RDS jumped in that race. He left it when Rubio lost the primary and reversed course on leaving the Senate.

My disagreements with Trump are primarily on character and secondarily on policy. But let us be clear, RDS would be far more effective at getting conservative laws passed and administered than Trump is. Trump fans typically don't give a shit about that, RDS is somewhat boring and ruthlessly effective, Trump is a loud, noisy train wreck of left-hating energy (and his diehards love that the most).

Yes, this is what I've been trying to say. I don't object to Trump saying his values are over taxing authority values, he's probably right. It's the way he did it (making shit up about the properties and their use) that is the problem/fraud/issue.

There are reasoned arguments against the AG case. But not among them is "Trump's valuations were on point." They were comically inflated.

The only reason anything potentially resembling a crime came to light is the AG investigating an opposing political party figure looking for a crime as the loan was paid as agreed. Correct?

You know how much I love clean answers, but I can't give a perfectly clean one here.

The NY AG has 100% targeted DJT. I think it's a perfectly fair point to immediately call that unacceptable and end the inquiry here. You can do that, I don't think it's unfair. But it's not an argument ender because ...

Trump's own complete inability to color within the lines and his constant "look at me" act invites this exact targeting in a way that no other modern political figure has managed. In addition, Trump's bad business conduct has previously victimized everyone from small contractors to big banks, which further counsels in favor of not cutting him breaks.

Any which way, I'm comfortable picking one's own adventure on this, different but reasonable conclusions can be drawn both directions.

I think if the AG is going to investigate all the NYers that are loud and obnoxious, she will need to hire a staff of about 1,000,000. This is not a fair argument to cover for her targeting a US citizen, let alone a presidential candidate.

You could've just said, "Thank You, Donald J. Trump". As I said, Trump gave you Desantis. None of the rest happens without Trump's December 2017 endorsement.

RDS - Trump's endorsement of DeSantis skyrocketed him to victory in the primary. In fact, during his victory speech that night in Orlando, one of his first remarks was, "Thank you, Mr. President."

Personally, the supposed "President" was due to drive within 1/4 mile of me last week (he visited Intel). They had stopped traffic on a major freeway for Biden. From my view atop a 4-story parking garage, the guy just had no 'presence'. There was no feeling that the most powerful man in the world was in my vicinity. Plenty of police, helicopters, etc. Strangely, no security atop this parking garage with a perfect vantage point. Evidently, old Joe had to change diapers several times because traffic was stopped for 45 minutes.

It just so happened I was out for a walk around the now abandoned GM facility (1,000 laid off last November) which abuts the highway brain-dead was going to take.

DA never said that. They are targeting those for whom there is reasonable suspicion that crimes have been committed. Can you deny that Trump was suspected of crimes? His lawyer/fixer admitted that he was lying about values, lowering taxes, increasing ability to get loans and lower rates.

Did Law and Order Trump start the ceremony by saluting and singing the National Anthem with the 1/6 Prisoner choir? Did he call them heroes and hostages for beating, crippling, bear spraying, killing Police? Did he promise to pardon them? He is all about Law and Order.

1. He was INVITED by the FAMILY first, on the phone when he phoned with condolences.
2. Brandon flew into NYC at JFK, which is under 10 miles from the family home, but he was not invited.
3. Governor of NY State showed up, the Family asked her to leave within 15 minutes of the Family finding her there.
4. Talk between Trump and Tunnels for Towers has TFT paying off her mortgage with Trump sending TFT a corresponding $ amount.
5. Barstool has a T-shirt/sweatshirts sale for the Family with 100 % of the proceeds going to the Family. So far it's at $ 1,500,000 in sales.
6. Founder of Barstool has pledged to match 100 % $ sales, which is $1,500,000= $ 3,000,00 so far.
