This affects us all

BS He only spits pollution. Stop reading fluff and read actual news from Florida. The BigSugar Agricultural runoff is so bad that it is causing a deep green slime in the Caloosahatchee down to the Gulf Coast. Later this will cause Red Tide pollution in the Gulf rendering much of it unusable.

That’s been a growing problem for at least the last 20 years. Are you really blaming that on RDS?

Yes he has done nothing in 6 years, to the contrary, the condition is worse. But he stands at a press conference for show and pretends to be saving the environment, and air heads on the Right clap instead of finding the truth.

Weird, this says he just approved over $740 million for it. Is that nothing?

When you lie about things that can be easily disproven, it makes it easy to question everything you say. He signed a $2.5 billion investment his first day in office. 😂

The Everglades have a lot of issues. The pythons amongst other non-native invasive species are taking a toll on the eco-system as an example. No governor, Republican or Democrat created these types of issues. Illinois still has no solution for the Illinois river being nothing but a muddy silted in mess. The solution to that one is easy. It would take some infrastructure change$ though. The damming of the river changed its flow, slowed it down. Turned one of the best fishing rivers and very clear waters in the 1920’s into a muddy mess that continues to become more shallow.

Clarification for those with various levels of TDS:

I was merely alerting posters that the idiots that controlled social media to attempt to dox Trump had instead made him BILLIONS of dollars !

Anyone with an inkling of securities knowledge would realize that Trumps approx 58 % ownership would be in restricted stock ! So that was NOT a liquid asset ! There are ways to sell restricted stock, like Board of Directors approval or volume of shares traded on the exchange, but AGAIN there are liquidity issues.

Trump would have to register to sell any restricted stock !

It would be hard to envision where that PUBLIC knowledge (as per Law !), wouldn't cause the share price to tank !

1. I never recommended purchasing stock or an equity position in the new company.
a. Going short is not an equity position.
b. it appears that some brokerages or market makers are using "naked shorts" to manipulate the stock price to go lower.
c. that is against SEC rules and regs.
2. Trump is earning an ADDITIONAL $ 1,250,000,000 (BILLION)
a. that is because the share prices are within parameters.
b. Probably disclosed in the IPO filings.

I have experience in this type of shenanigans.

Wouldn't touch this stock with a 10 foot pole. Sale, no sales, profit, no profit. Those don't determine stock prices ! Investor share holder interest is the key.

I can recall being at the Harvey Milk building on 14 th St in NYC, meeting with others to see this new electric car with this tall guy with the funny name that wanted to raise money for additional financing ! His company had no earnings and was losing money !
It now is Tesla.

You are citing money appropriated by the state. Follow thru and read on whether it has been spent, and progress made on the reservoir and other projects. Try doing some reading rather than a quick 5 minute troll on Google.

'Not even close': Clean-up of Everglades water polluted by Big Sugar struggles to keep up

Recently, DeSantis announced billions of dollars for Everglades restoration, but the move may come with hidden political strings and calculations. Environmental analysts believe that some of the planned water projects may benefit large-scale agriculture more than the area’s habitat and biodiversity. It will take time to track how the money flows and where, and how much becomes trapped in eddies and swirls of bureaucracy or lines the pockets of DeSantis donors.

The projects DeSantis has greenlit often lack the scope to fulfill lofty promises. The governor’s “crown jewel” of Everglades restoration, the EAA Reservoir artificial wetlands project, allocates 16,500 acres for restoration—a pittance of the 60,000 acres stipulated in the Congressional Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan.

In the language of ecosystems, the reservoir has not evolved in a complex enough way to sustain itself over time. In the language of human policy, as Eve Samples, executive director of the Friends of the Everglades, notes, “Pumping record amounts of taxpayer money into earth-moving restoration projects will only be effective if these projects are properly scaled and designed to address Florida’s water-quality and water-quantity needs.”

Another headline. The same as 30 years ago. These morons will never stop with this fear tactic that is nothing more than wealth redistribution. We saw what happened during covid when the “scientists” were allowed to create policies.

Old man is still rambling and making excuses about the Trump stonk a week later.

You obviously don’t understand what dox means.

He’s not earning an additional $1.25 billion you dope. He’s receiving additional shares of his bullshit company.

Your lips must be orange by now.

Which were worth approx $ 1,250,000,000 Billion at the time I posted. Did your TDS so destroy your brain to not understand my post ?

It increased his restricted stock (note the correct spelling) from approx 58 % to over 60%.

Did you switch to a wooden tongue depressor instead of plastic to do your part to save the world as you count pills.

Water is a problem in areas in Florida that have no water in aquifers available.

Jupiter Island is one such place. The water company that supplies water is owned b y the family that developed the island. It supplies water thru reverse osmosis, very expensive. My water bill for 1 month was $ 900.00 ! (Summer, and broken grass water automatic timer.)

WGCU is the radio/TV station of Fla. Gulf Coast University, where two of my kids graduated from. One of its Missions is Environmental Protection.By the way DeSantis and his Board controls it, try again.

Good Trolling as usual. One repost is of DeSantis praising himself. The other two are from Ann Upton effusively praising DeSantis as the savior of Florida's Everglades. As you are not from Florida, you don't know that she is a DeSantis pawn, appointed by him to her cush position on a State Water Management Board. Keep trolling from Colorado.

He lives at the Outback Steakhouse in Tampa from what I gather.

Is google that site which posts a non-white picture of the Pope ?

I don't feel it necessary to track the daily movements of the stock that gave him MORE than $ 1,000,000,000 BILLION today !

I see from news highlights that a minority of college age students have taken over campuses across the USA.

In 1970 Syracuse had students take over the Admin building. Syracuse Chief of Police got on a bull horn and advised that in 15 minutes the building would be tear gassed. Building was empty in about 10 minutes, I was in the building to see what was going on...

This was an anti-war in Vietnam, NOT antisemite !.

Interesting read. I don’t agree with all of it, but food for thought nonetheless.

Remember the good ole days when the libs were freaking out about microagressions? Now they are out supporting people screaming “death to Israel”. Once again, pointing out how hypocritical liberals are.
