It’s funny how the mainstream media focused on the recount but not the audit which has revealed fraudulent voting….
The media is so dishonest. So is anyone that repeats the “most secure election in US history” nonsense. Anyone with a brain knew that this election had security concerns. I would have said that regardless of who won.

Yes. The media created a strawman and beat the hell out of it. The audit wasn’t intended to overturn the election. What they found are serious integrity issues with the AZ election. The thread under the Wendy Rogers tweet is quite full of twits who don’t think very well.
Today AZ reported 69 new deaths from covid, 52% or 36 were over 65. I follow the data daily and consistently people over 65 are the majority of reported deaths, despite high vaccination levels.
So why are older folk still the majority of the deaths? One reason is a reduced immune system, two is they have more contributing conditions, and three 9% of them are still not vaccinated. There is no official reported data on people dying of covid based on vaccination and age but anecdotally the vast majority of people in the hospital with covid are unvaccinated.
No matter how you feel about the vaccine it works. Whatever long term effects you may be worried about, it probably will not affect those over 65.
So this is a rant to say if you are older or if you have parents/grandparents who are older: 1) get them vaccinated and 2) get them the booster which was approved yesterday. Covid's threat is very much age related so you can be a 20 something who won't get the vaccine but support it for your grandparents.
Interestingly the Pfizer shots are much weaker than Moderna so a third dose of that shot seems legit. Not so sure about Moderna.

Good post. I would add another contributing factor to those over 65 is they don't work out as much at that age.
It is becoming increasingly hard to take any analysis from you serious. You wanted to talk up the investigation until you did not like everything they found. Then the same investigation you touted yesterday morning becomes conspiracy theory. Face it, you never venture outside what your side feeds you. The only answer you can even give on Bidens performance is he is better than Trump. Which essentially reinforces you cant independently think on current events.

One solution to provide greater confidence in the presidential election is to abolish the electoral college. If the election was based on the popular vote then one would need to produce millions of fraudulent votes to change the election. With the current system of 50 separate state elections for president, it takes much less to change the results.
The worst thing that could happen is abolishing the electoral college. It is an AOC dream for a reason. Only the votes in high population areas would matter and no where else. At least now there is a little balance. The constitution is proving to be very wise.

This does nothing to solve the current concerns of election integrity.
The end justified the means for every person that wanted Trump out of office. They don’t care that the amount of mail in ballots opened this election up to fraud. Again, everyone with a brain understands this election was vulnerable to fraud. Most can at least admit it. There are still plenty that don’t care about duplicate ballots and scribbled signatures though. Their guy is in office, and that is all that matters.
The only reason you support the electoral college is because it helps the Republican presidential candidate. That is it no other reason. If it worked against the Republican candidate in election after election, you would be arguing that it should be abolished. I get it. I like the electorial college as well for the same reason but I am not going to try to justify it on some theoretical basis because that would be irrelevant to the real reason I support it.
Former Arizona AG Slams Cyber Ninjas ‘Grift’ In Botched Vote Audit
“They’re in it for the money,” said Republican Grant Woods.
A former Arizona Republican attorney general attacked the Cyber Ninjas company on Saturday for engineering a vote audit “grift” in the state.
The partisan company, hired by the state’s Republican-run Senate, has confirmed that Joe Biden won the presidential election — exactly as state officials determined after a number of recounts shortly after the vote. But Donald Trump continues to rail against the “fake news” for reports of the findings.
Former AG Grant Woods said on CNN that he was surprised how “100% incompetent the operation” by the inexperienced company was. But he’s convinced doing a competent job was never really the point.
“They’re in it for the money,” he said. “It is a grift. There’s a lot of grifters we have been exposed to. I was attorney general for years. I dealt with grifters every day. This is how they act.” (Check out the video above.)
Woods believes the Ninjas will now try the same operation in other states.
“You would think they’d say this didn’t work out, we’ll go home, feel bad about what happened — no, they’re not. They never give up,” Woods said. “They move to the next mark. The next marks are the [other] states.”
Trump is insisting the Ninjas found “anomalies” in a number of votes at least “four times” greater than the amount he lost to Biden. But concerns raised in the report prepared by the Ninjas have already been shot down by election officials as the naive, partisan questions of an inexperienced company with no real knowledge of the ballot process.
For example, the Cyber Ninjas insisted that files had been deleted. None have been deleted, according to election officials, though some are archived, which the company didn’t bother to seek out.
“The Cyber Ninjas’ opinions come from a misuse and misunderstanding of the data provided by the county and are twisted to fit the narrative that something went wrong,” Maricopa County Board Chairman Jack Sellers said in a statement after the company’s three-hour presentation of its report.
He said Senate Republicans allowing the company to raise the questions completely unchallenged in a hearing Friday was “irresponsible and dangerous.”
At the end of the Ninjas’ presentation, Republican Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer told The Arizona Republic that he was thinking: “What was the whole point of this?”
Critics complained that the audit — popularly known as the “fraudit” — was so slipshod, with a sloppy chain of custody, that countless ballots could have been dumped or altered.
The operation was suspect from the start. The company is headed by a QAnon conspiracy theorist who was convinced before the operation began that “hundreds of thousands” of votes would be found for Trump. Ballots have been bizarrely examined for traces of bamboo in a bid to prove the Chinese hacked the votes. And truckloads of voter data were spirited away to a cabin in Montana woods, 1,300 miles from where votes were cast. The audit was supposed to be completed in May.
Strangely, in a message Friday, Trump himself referred to the Cyber Ninjas’ operation as a “fraudit.”

I asked an n.p. the other day, who obviously isn't an expert on pandemics, if she thinks this is going to just keep just cycling around as some sort of new flu kind of situation and she was hopeful it would not but who knows at this rate.

Gross. No one needs California and New York deciding POTUS for everyone else. The electoral college gives everyone a voice unlike a pure “democratic” election.

No one would care or campaign in flyover country and America would be worse off for it. The moment one party or the other starts changing the constitution is going to be for partisan gain and Dems are overwhelmingly for getting rid of the electoral college, wonder why?

We are a republic, not a pure democracy. The constitution is the document that holds our country together. You obviously missed class when they talked about states' rights.
Chinese leadership has to pinch themselves every day thinking about what AOC and Joe are doing to America even without eliminating the electoral college. Imagine how much more they could do if they just got rid of those pesky states' rights.
Name another Republic on the planet where all votes are not equal. I didn't think you could. (There are no true Democracies since ancient Greece) Every country is a republic.

Why do I care. Great Britain and many of their former colonies have a parliamentary system that doesn't let people even vote for the prime minister. It works for them but we have a constitution that sets the rules for the US and was designed to protect the states from being dominated by a couple of biggies like Calif and NY. The Dems want to eliminate the electoral college for partisan reasons, not equality.
