..and in other news

He does, but perhaps people/media could figure that out and see what he actually meant before going nutso? It's really unbelievable to me. And frankly, he's a lot more calm and professional at the start of this term than he was in 2017.
If an idiot like me knew what he said yesterday, it was not that hard.

Who went “nutso” exactly? If someone disagrees with what he said it’s “nutso” now?

I have better things to do than moderate this board and respond to reports.

If you want to keep this mostly unmoderated thread I suggest you act like adults.

Every reference I’ve seen about relocating Gaza residents has described it as voluntary but some keep trying to pan it off as ethnic cleansing to make sure this false narrative won’t die.
You guys that are cleaning up what he said didn't actually listen to him speak.

I don’t think people should be going back to Gaza,” he added. “Gaza is not a place for people to be living, and the only reason they want to go back, and I believe this strongly, is because they have no alternative. … If they had an alternative, they’d much rather not go back to Gaza and live in a beautiful alternative that’s safe.”
Alternative means a choice.

There are 1.9 million Gazans living in tents, barely surviving on food and water. That is the factual basis-- where are they going to move to, what are they going to live in, what are they going to do for food in this new location, water, education for the kids? Who is paying for all of that. Who is going to pay to rebuild Gaza for the US to "own it"" long term", and who is going to move there when it is "developed" and if in your fantasy it is the Gazans, how will they pay for the apts. condos or land? It is insane and you guys are trying to rationalize it.

You made up an alternate, an excuse, and the press office came up with the same backtrack.
False. Go back through my posts this afternoon. I put up a video clip of him stating his intention yesterday that was part of my best guess. Maybe I am guilty of paying attention to what was actually said by your President. You should try it!

Trump has been in office like two weeks. So, I agree with you that Biden/ Harris really made quite a mess over there. Hopefully Trump changes course. Seems like he is trying.

Why are you claiming to be right? You were wrong as shown by that quote! He will put US troops in GAZA if he has to.

My quotes about troops today are in bold of each of my quotes...
I think the crowd that loses their mind over every Trump quote, usually cannot see he has an end goal he is trying to achieve. These goals(policy shifts) are not usually attainable through "traditional diplomacy". Trump does let some clues slip as to his end game in these scenarios.

My guess at this point:

Trump has been pressuring (hard) the wealthier players in the area to take(resettle) Palestinians they do not want. These players would probably rather part with some money than take people that are slightly brainwashed to cause havoc. So, Trump shifts course yesterday and suggests we rebuild Gaza. He didn't say we would pay for it and at one point sounded like he would be asking others to pay for it.

So, I would guess he is trying to get "donations" to help settle the rebuild and placement problems over there in the name of peace and humanity. It would not surprise me to see US troops handling security and US contractors participating in the rebuild and all for a reasonable:)fee.

Of course, this is speculation on my part. The crazies can go back to the gnashing of their teeth🤣

He left all options on the table while negotiating. You probably do not understand this tactic, but the press secretary was asked specifically about this. She said he needed to leave these options on the table as they work out details with the leaders over there. Maybe these are just areas you are not very good at digesting 🤷‍♂️

Ruffalo is a moron, but he’s just repeating talking points. Nowhere did Trump discuss “ethnic cleansing”. Dems lying because they couldn’t breathe otherwise.

Lies. Not many illegals committing violent crime.

More gymnastics.

Boy we’ve gone from America First and bring our troops home to let’s orchestrate policing and rebuilding the Middle East in just over two weeks.

I’ll ask again. Did you vote for US troops in Gaza?
Stop being a whiny little weenie. No effing way will there be troops in Gaza.

This is pretty ironic coming from a bunch of guys that are now defending sending troops to the Middle East.
No dumbass…. We’re saying THERE WONT BE ANY US TROOPS IN GAZA! How is this so hard for you to follow? Your panties are in a bunch but the rest of us all know what the real deal is.

Be cool honey bunny

While a couple on here flail away over every word Trump says, the massive scandal coming out of USAID is pretty ugly
I think uncovering the massive fraud in govt is great. I also think dismantling many of these corrupt agencies is too. So is removing men from women’s sports.

Funding AI driven mRNA vaccines, appointing seed oil lobbyists and big Pharma shills, and occupying Gaza are mistakes.

You all are so entrenched you’re incapable of even reading criticism without losing your minds.
