I think the crowd that loses their mind over every Trump quote, usually cannot see he has an end goal he is trying to achieve. These goals(policy shifts) are not usually attainable through "traditional diplomacy". Trump does let some clues slip as to his end game in these scenarios.
My guess at this point:
Trump has been pressuring (hard) the wealthier players in the area to take(resettle) Palestinians they do not want. These players would probably rather part with some money than take people that are slightly brainwashed to cause havoc. So, Trump shifts course yesterday and suggests we rebuild Gaza. He didn't say we would pay for it and at one point sounded like he would be asking others to pay for it.
So, I would guess he is trying to get "donations" to help settle the rebuild and placement problems over there in the name of peace and humanity. It would not surprise me to see US troops handling security and US contractors participating in the rebuild and all for a reasonable
fee.Of course, this is speculation on my part. The crazies can go back to the gnashing of their teeth🤣

I get it about Gaza. I agree we have no business there - but it certainly costs us a ton of money and is a base for terrorists. Is this Trump plan even feasible? It depends on how many people have to be relocated temporarily.
My take is Gaza is similar to US Aid - it needs to be blown up entirely. From the tunnels to the terrorist dens, etc. it just can't be fixed. If rebuilt properly and owned by the Gulf States, it could be an attractive place free from Hamas, Iran, etc. My Gaza geography is poor, but it solves a huge problem for both Egypt and Israel and as a result the US. It is also one less place for UN corruption.
Just imagine how much money the Biden Crime Family could have made if they had come up with this idea!

The US Aid building is a crime scene at this point. With the staff locked out, Democrats are scrambling to gain entry so that they can destroy evidence. The fact of the matter is this Blitzkrieg caught them off guard and they now can't get to the evidence of what at minimum is extreme waste and at worst deep, deep corruption. No! The Marshall plan gave the Germans and others the funds and ability to rebuild their country. It did not require the Germans move out to neighboring countries, and have the U.S. develop it as part of the U.S. The analogy if it was Marshall would be to give the Palestinians the funds to rebuild Gaza.

Did you notice the look on Netanyahu's face while Trump was making his proposal about Gaza? He was frozen, looked like he was afraid to show his true reaction to the completely absurd and crazyman he was standing next to.
The US has troops in how many foreign countries currently? Whenever there is a plan with specifics to be acted upon, I will evaluate it on its merits.
