Forget it….

You never heard of FEMA? Really?

Here is another one: staffing cuts at the NOAA leading to less timely warning of severe weather leading to higher death counts. You think the public will be ok with that?

Again, not saying it will happen. Nobody knows the true impact of these cuts presently.

I have little faith that the staffing cuts are being carried out in a thoughtful manner.

You have full faith in Trump and Co. Hope you are right.
FEMA isn’t emergency response. It’s emergency management, whatever you want to make of that. Or as we’ve recently seen, emergency mismanagement.

Same Fema that left the people in NC to fend for themselves?

I could see some minor impacts from the government, but we finally have a politician willing to actually cut spending. People will be celebrating.

Lets say he only cuts a trillion from annual spending by year two, will you say you were wrong?

I've heard of FEMA. I've heard that under the brain-challenged President you voted for, FEMA was not helpful to Trump supporters in Western Carolina or Eastern Tennessee. Here's another waste of Taxpayer money.

Forget it….

The wonderful Chief Justice doesn't get it. He's personally responsible for claiming Obamacare was just a tax. Think about how much more expensive healthcare is for everyone after that bill passed. Indeed the Constitution allows for Judges to be impeached, Chief Justice Roberts.

As a side note, there are already Republicans in the House working on impeachment for Boasberg and another Judge on a different matter. Trump should stay out of it and let the House Republicans take care of it.

Forget it….

Character only matters in Presidential politics when it’s the guy you didn’t vote for.
This is true. I learned that with Bill Clinton. I didn't vote for him, but the impeachment was not a great idea. It lowered the bar, IMHO and the Dems sunk that bar even lower with the Trump impeachments. While I think he got lucky with the economy (Y2K "bug" created a big economy of tech sales), but in general he was an extremely good politician. He was smart enough to shut Hillary's yapper. Her secretive universal healthcare committee meetings were a big part of how Gingrich and the Republicans swept into Congressional power.

Like I said if you cut 1 5 trillion in spending, government services will be impacted. The voters will decide in 2026 if the tradeoff was worth it.
Hopefully, the only impacts will be longer wait times to get into national parks or longer wait times on the phone. However if emergency services are affected during a disaster, then it will not be pretty.
Nobody really knows, will have to wait and see.

You mean like emergency services in North Carolina after a hurricane caused unprecedented floods?

Forget it….

Aren’t emergency services all state and local?
