Until he buttons up these trade deals, I would anticipate these types of numbers. I hate the delays/strategy and so do the polls.
On the other hand, we will get the deals done and there could be a massive bump in stocks and optimism. The MSM chicken littles will look bad again. There is no election to worry about for awhile and today's polling means almost nothing. So, it is not all bad
The "trade deals" Trump was never prepared to negotiate are going to take months. Some may take a year or two. I will give the benefit of the doubt and agree that some new trade deals were anticipated, but the scope of the tariff program almost certainly didn't anticipate dozens of new deals all coming in quickly.
And all the while, business activity is going to decline due to uncertainty. I think we get Q1 GDP reports this week, analyses range from very minimal growth to genuine contraction of a couple percent. Bad all around.

OMG, you believe there will be trade deals? The tariffs he imposed will be removed by Trump due to the great damage done to the economy, the lack of goods, and the high prices. NO ONE except that idiot trade advisor believes the tariffs are a good thing.Until he buttons up these trade deals, I would anticipate these types of numbers.
