The establishment Republicans lost their way a long time ago. It took the MAGA movement to derail their depravity. They care about “decorum” more than doing what is right. The Republican establishment that fought Trump 45 are a huge reason Biden Admin thought they could get away with open borders and many other garbage policies. It’s how you get a border/immigration bill written/sponsored by a Republican that was indefensible.
All evidence suggests the Brits are getting run over by their government and real sex crimes are happening more frequently and not something that ended over 10 years ago. FFS, the Brits are prosecuting the 13 year old girls, not the immigrants from certain countries who actually did the true crime. Of course rape is down. It’s bizarro world! The indefensible is brushed off and deleted.
As long as the system serves establishment Republicans, problems don’t matter. Well here we are with a real Latin American gang problem. Problems swept aside, because it’s just a Denver thing. We both know that it wasn’t just a Denver thing and specifically a single apartment. Much evidence presented that make the statistics of many issues from crime to immigration to unemployment and the economy very doubtful. Crime increased and the FBI revised their numbers up, but the current admin likely reported that on a late Friday afternoon. The FBI didn’t and doesn’t have all the data. They estimate crime because they don’t receive all the data and their estimates were too rosy. Govt kept telling everyone the economy was good. It wasn’t and isn’t. They falsely reported the jobs market and unemployment numbers. What were they off by 818,000, yet we are just supposed to “listen” to numbers the government puts out and slurp it up as truth.
Just as real science is always questioning itself, we always have to examine what we know, what we believe and why. It’s good not to live in echo chambers and hear others opinions. Having an open mind engaging in sincere discussion with people of differing opinion sharpens your resolve that you are correct or you have some things to think about, because what you’ve programmed yourself to think may not be right after all. As an example...The entire lawfare against Trump has completely fallen apart. I wouldn’t have thought so when cases started originally. I thought "lawfare" was just a word used by the Trump team. I was wrong.
Standard Republican politicians rarely put up a fight. The Thomas Massies and Rand Pauls are too far and few between. Cultural issues, anti-Constitutional issues, money management issues just go away on their own. No they do not. Republican AG’s have joined together to sue regarding ESG. Even RDS took crap from some of the establishment Republicans for his fight with Disney. RDS was right. Can we have a Republican Party that has strength as opposed to being just different enough from the Democrats that they are a slower drip to the cliff? $37 trillion in debt. Let’s just keep doing business as usual. That’s a crazy train.
