At least that was in the distant past. Republican Trumpsters are NOW. white nationalists, NAZIS,. KKK and anti semites.

Hey @stoneaxe27 - Republicans kind of flipped you the Brandon in Virginia last night with the LTGov and AG races, huh?

the national media did note the winning candidates would become the first black female lieutenant governor and first Cuban-American attorney general in state history

I never thought McAullife would win. Besides the off year history he wasn't a very "attractive" candidate literally and figuratively. Last time he won he only had 47% and there was a third party candidate that took I think 5% and his Republican opponent was more disliked than he was.
Now NJ was a surprise.

Stone - this is a good take.

I’d just like to get past the both parties are racist junk. The Rs who won in Virginia are very diverse. They all certainly won with extensive MAGA support.

What do you consider to be extensive MAGA support ? Youngkin distanced himself from Trump. Yes Trump endorsed him but you can't really control that and it wasn't asked for. You're giving him way too much credit for what happened in VA

Giving Trump way too much credit is sort of his thing.

I think Brandon and all the crazy govt overreach deserve most of the credit for this election and what’s likely going to happen in midterms.

Trump got a record number of votes in Virginia a year ago for a Republican. It goes without saying that most of those people voted for a strong candidate Yesterday.

Further, if you look at Miami Dade County Trump got half of the Latino vote and increased AA votes. Trump broadened the party.

Macauliffe and Biden tied Trump around Youngkins neck. Whether you like it or not, Trump was an issue and the Democrats ran against Trump and lost.

It goes without saying, but I apparently must say it for you, Youngkin was a strong candidate. If he was not strong, he loses.

I thought it was when I posted it, then later last night I was reading something I didn't know. (If you can believe that) But since Ronald Reagan, 40 years ago, every time a new President was elected, the following year both the Governor of Virginia AND NJ were elected from the other party. I had forgotten all of the Republican Governors NJ has had. This was the first time since Reagan's first term that the Governor of NJ didn't flip along with the Gov. of Virginia. I shouldn't have been surprised it was close.

Well, the polling said it wasn’t close, cocaine Mitch was surprised which is pure negligence on the part of the R party, etc.

The most interesting election is the R truck driver who spent $150 leading the NJ Senate leader.

Ya, let’s hold off on recreational space travel. Plenty of issues to take care of on Earth.

The left has one pitch right now, and it’s a 75 mph fastball right down the middle.

They shut down schools for the last year and a half, and look at children as nothing more than than disease vectors. Shocking that it didn’t go over well with women, who played a big part in the change in Virginia.

Race is far from the most important topic among Republicans. It’s all that Dems can focus on.

Jemele Hill is a one trick pony. Republican in Texas beat a Democrat incumbent in a Hispanic district. They want border security. It appears, based upon quotes and news media, that quite a few Dems are tone deaf and resistant to what has actually led to Tuesday's trouncing.

Looked at Facebook this morning. Man, I feel for kids. First post is an old friend of mine showing his 6 year old son standing outside of a medical facility, double masked, waiting for his vaccine. My friend said his son is ready to do his part to save others, and to get back to a normal life. No, your son is ready to appease you. He’s been ready for a normal life this whole time, and you took it away from him.

The space travel is awesome. You do know NASA is now using commercially developed rockets to get to space? The reusable booster rockets which land on sea platforms are amazing tech.

You want money to solve other problems? There are plenty of places to get it. One, don't leave 85B in gear behind in Afghanistan. Two, extra unemployment money paying people not to work was stupid. Three, a border wall to keep people out and off of the public dole. Four, how about the rampant abuse of COVID money? Five, Global Warming. Six, vaccine propaganda everywhere including telling young kids the vaccines will give them superpowers.

Private companies developing a product at their own expense is really none of your business so long as they coordinate their launches with the FAA and file appropriate NOTAMs.

Now, hypocrites like Bill Gates polluting the earth with a super yacht for their birthday party and then telling the rest of us to drive less - yes, call him out.

" It's the Economy stupid ! ", James Clavell.

Exit pools in Va. had it leading the way at 37 %, climate change didn't make the list.

People should watch I-95 North from about 5 AM from Va into DC, it's solid stop and go, with gas above $3.50.

I feel terrible for the working poor/lower middle class. Getting hammered with rising prices.

Speaking of gas...
This is the result of Biden wiping out all of the policies Trump had that were good. He started eliminating as much US oil production as possible on Day 1 with Exec Orders. Now the idiotic Admin thinks they can tell OPEC to produce more. No, radical socialist dummies. The world doesn't care about you. You slashed out American jobs and any type of control you had.

How are people this dumb? It's seasonal. The South gets hot, muggy. People go inside and share crappy air. Weather improves. People go outside.
You don't live in Florida or anywhere in the South I assume. There are more people outside on the beaches, pools, boats, recreating in the summer than the winters. I understand humidity might help viruses, but it is not due to people being inside. It is not the opposite of N. Dakota in the winter.

Peak travel season in Florida happens during the summer and winter. With all of those people down there during the summer months, there are going to be more people gathering inside. This isn’t rocket science stone.

Getting much colder at night and in the morning in Colorado, driving people inside. Shockingly, numbers have risen, just as I told you they would.
