With the latest round of updates completed, Illinois moved up one spot to No. 11 in the Big Ten.

Kentrail Moran is now a 3-star prospect. That's more realistic, IMO. Still a good back.

TE Griffin Palmer could get in a bump in the next update. He's a 3-star type. But there just isn't a lot of film on him. His team was bad, and they didn't throw to him a lot.

2.61 average star ranking means the class lacks headliners. They need to finish strong - get playmakers at LB and WR. I like that a JUCO CB is visiting. You don't want to have to rely on true freshmen at that position.

Shelton and Jackson are okay, but there's a huge need at DT in 2017. You can't really win in the Big Ten without a couple of NFL types on the defensive line. Illinois must do better with the in-state kids.

Trevour Simms and Tim Walton are the top two kids in the class. Simms is a future NFL guard if he works hard enough and changes his body some.

Not sure if Parchman will make it academically yet. He needs a couple of good semesters.
