Offense has me puzzled

There’s been much talk about defense and fouling, but what about offense?

Seems we are running pure base offense more this year than last, and very robotic in running the pinch post, ball reversal action. Would have thought there would be more creativity and reads off this action, especially with better guard play, and more set plays to exploit matchups/put guys in position to use strengths. Very few set plays. We aren’t running much for Trent to come off screens, catch and shoot. AYO isn’t getting space to drive. Kipper nothing at high post extended like last year. No plays to get AJ Open looks. It goes on and on, a lot of base offense, and very robotic within it.

BUs offensive efficiency has been about getting quality shots, getting to the FT line, and getting out and running. We aren’t doing any of that.

Our guards aren’t creating, but they also don’t seem to have the space to create.... AYO is a beast in transition, and we aren’t getting him run outs. Trent and AYO aren’t playing well off each other at all.

Where’s the secondary break? Last year we pushed the ball and got some quick offense/secondary break action. Almost non existent this year.

Guards have to play much better. Kipper needs to sit.
