'CHAMPAIGN, Illinois - Illinois football coach Tim Beckman and his staff will host an event open to the public to announce the 2015 Fighting Illini recruiting class at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 4, at the Colonnades Club of Memorial Stadium.
The Illinois coaching staff and some of the newest members of the Fighting Illini football team will welcome fans as they enter the Colonnades Club. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the event is free and open to the public. All Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl ticket purchasers are encouraged to attend.
Fans can enter on the west side of Memorial Stadium at Gate 16 near the Red Grange statue and take the elevator to the third floor. Parking is free in the Northwest parking lot of State Farm Center and the grass lots west of the stadium (weather permitting). The event should be completed around 7 pm.
In addition to the event at the Colonnades Club, there will be complete coverage throughout signing day at FightingIllini.com, including a live blog tracking when each letter of intent arrives, highlight videos, live Twitter chats, behind-the-scenes photos, and a press conference officially announcing the class.
