I watched CBS at halftime yesterday. The game against Penn State was treated like a joke. Nothing about Illinois getting it’s first win against a top ten opponent since 2007 or any type of recognition of any kind of good effort by the Illini. The commentary was: you might want to look away, this is painful to watch.
This, of course, in reference to the 9 overtime’s. And yes, both teams struggled to score but maybe defense had something to do with that...
