He passed the cognitive test and released the results per NPR. That's not a high bar after the last 4 years, but certainly information that should be available to the public at large. They also noted scarring on his right ear.

You care about the legal process of this more than the average voter and quite frankly most lawyers are probably lefties. So, it is not a big loss for the GOP if the ones that care about this process are against what is happening.

This is what most people hate about our legal system. Use taxpayer funds to bring this one criminal back to put him through a process to then remove him again. Makes total sense🤪 I get it, you legal types like it. The rest of us don't. And that is who Trump is playing to.

If I am Trump, I keep delaying and letting the left fight hard for this criminal woman beater. Let them show everyone who they are in a loud and proud manner.

25 years. Nobody who is here illegally needs "due process". They didn't use the proper process to get here. As for the one idiot MS-13 gang banger, the answer is simple. He already had due process and way too much of it since he was here illegally. He's even a possible human trafficker, if the TN police report is true. Have Bukele bring him back to the US where he has already been processed and deportation is already approved for Venezuela. Ship him there. As an MS-13 gang member, I'm sure the TdA gang members will be kind to him. Not! So then it makes sense for Venezuela to ship him over the the country of which he is a citizen, El Salvador. Done!

That's an unfortunate law. I do not know the vagaries of divorce law, and they are highly dependent on the state.

I'm sure the process sucks. I don't think divorce is regarded as fun for anyone with children or assets.
Well, the "due process" was a benefit to my former spouse. It cost me seven figures. I am not a fan of process over common sense.

That was not “due process.” It was simply Wisconsin law. Due process gave you the right to have a court proceeding rather than an arbitrary body giving all your money to her. And I mean all, not some split.

You obviously forgot more about the law than I know, but a continuance is recognized as part of the legal process in Wisconsin.

I think you are confusing "civil procedure" with "due process."

To square the circle, I was one of the people screaming about the kangaroo "sexual misconduct" courts at universities imposing severe sanctions on overwhelmingly male students without providing them the DUE PROCESS of a contested hearing.

Last I knew, having a Domestic Violence Inj. entered against you for a week, doesn't mean that you can be sent to a Hellhole in El Salvador.
 
So apparently they pulled him out of the prison. He's now in an immigration detention center in El Salvador.

Which is entirely hilarious because it screams that the idjits know that him getting killed in that prison would be an abject PR disaster. And also reveals a lack of confidence in their position.

I think moving him is a good thing. Some guy we should simply deport in normal channels doesn't need to be sent to a notoriously dangerous prison. So novel!

This was the right move. If he was a former gang member, and they kept him in a prison with current gang members, that very well could have been a death sentence.

Sounds like he should be deported. But we shouldn’t send people to a prison in El Salvador known for its dangerous criminals. That’s nuts.

He was subject to a standing deportation order, that's how easy this was. Could have sent him to a bunch of other spots (we have leverage with many countries in Central/South America).

I think most people agree they don’t belong in the USA. I haven’t seen that disputed at all.

Well, here’s an excellent chance to clarify the strawman fallacy you were confused about last time. TJ’s claim that voting for Biden or Harris means supporting ‘bringing wife-beating gang bangers to America’ is a strawman because it misrepresents Harris voters’ positions. It exaggerates their stance into an extreme caricature that’s easier to attack than the real, varied reasons people vote for her.

He does it because he’s not capable of posting in this thread without flaming his fellow posters. He intentionally misrepresents other posters’ positions in nearly every post, which violates both board rules and community guidelines.
