I would much rather have a player from a 6A-7A-8A program. These kids get better coaching and player tougher competition. Most have played since pee wee football. The kids in the smaller IHSA classes may put up better stats. But the larger schools have the kids more college ready. Yes I know there are exceptions. That is why I think Vala will be of great asset. And yes I hate losing players that the Illini have invested a lot of time, effort, and money. I think the coaches did a great job of recruiting Sutter. We have a very strong class so far. Great job coaches!!!!
