GISELA SEGURA ON WHY SHE CHOSE ILLINOIS:

"I chose Illinois because it feels like they are more than just a basketball program. From the moment I connected with the coaches, I knew this was a place where I could grow not just as an athlete, but as a person. The energy, the vision, and the culture at Illinois all align with who I am and who I'm striving to become. I am excited to embrace the challenge, represent Illinois, and give everything I've got to this journey."
