Like almost everyone else I believe Saturday's debacle should warrant a new coaching staff but I dont think it is going to happen this year. Having said that we all need to try and stay positive ( hard I know)
In that vein I am trying to convince myself we will better next year because:
Our worst option at QB is MJ who I think can be a quality Big 10 QB. Same may be true of Robinson or Taylor
At Running back we should be bringing back Epstein, Corbin and Bonner who are all BIg 10 level RBs - if Epstein can stay healthy.
Most of the O Line returns and they have generally been the best unit this year and they add Larry Boyd back
Adding Beason/ IW if they remain committed will add speed to team
On Defense
Bobby Roundtree will continue to improve
Calvin Avery will make a sophomore jump
Verdi Brown will be back on team
Combined that should improve defensive line
Eifler will add to LB core
Defensive backfield had some good moments this year and may step up next year.
I know some of the above could be seen as pollyanish but I'd rather be that than suicidal
