Future Illini D

What are thoughts on Illini D for next year? It seems the feeling has been positive on several individuals ie (Roundtree, Avery, Hansen, Hobbs, Adams etc) but the results have been awful. Does a competent DC and another year of experience give us a chance to have a decent D to go with what should be even a better offense in 2019.
