Look the Cato Institute website. There are for a number of policies that you would be in favor of like eliminating the Department of Education. Cato is a libertarian think tank and favors small government. It is by no means liberal or progressive.
As a Biden voter, I freely admitted that there were policies I did not agree with. I just don't get the absolute defense of Trump no matter what he does. To each his own.
Cato is not left wing. It is libertarian. It has recommendations for DOGE and supports the elimination of the Derpartment of Education. Trump fever clouds your power to reason.

Let me know when Trump churns up so much hostility with his rhetoric that all of MAGA feels empowered to burn pride flags down, take over LGBTQ+ headquarters with their own brownshirts as counter to antifa. Let me know when Trump’s followers rip down statues and stop certain ethnic groups of young people from going to college classes due to physical threats and taking over buildings.
