It is well established that 45% of the Trump cuts went to the wealthy. Nobody disputes that fact. MAGA just tries to justify it. There is not one post that states that I am lying. Bucshon posted an article with a different viewpoint but it did not dispute the basic fact that 45% of the Trump tax cuts went to the wealthy.

Yes, the wealthy kept more $ in their pocket because they made more $.

What do you think about the single mom making 60k a year? You think she wants the tax cuts to expire? How about a family with 3 kids making 150k? You think they want to pay more in taxes, and that it will benefit them? Tell them paying a couple thousand more in taxes every year won’t hurt them.

I think your position is way out of touch with the working poor - upper middle class. Most of them benefited from the tax cuts too. For some reason the Dems never talk about them. Only think about those not paying taxes at all, and the billionaire/millionaire class.

If the cuts do impact medical care for the poor, then they are very problematic.

I wouldn't wish Medicaid and the poor outcomes that come with it on my worst enemies.

The states have better options, IMO.

Further, you cling to the fantasy that every dollar of a 7 TRILLION dollar budget is necessary and well spent even though the total budget was under 5 TRILLION a year pre-COVID.

Further, I believe when you make dramatic cuts to save AMERICA, you also make some cuts that shouldn't be made. My hope is that the mistakes get corrected.

As for your twisted mind, you cry, cry, cry that DOGE cuts won't do the job. However, you call one of the necessary cuts (Medicaid) that you have identified - "SHAMEFUL". Your word choice.

So, if Trump makes the cuts that Jeff wants, it is "SHAMEFUL". If he doesn't raise taxes and make Jeff's cuts - it is fantasy. The logic doesn't square at all. At that point, I have to remember that you are a liberal and there is no place for logic. So, it makes sense.
