This polling is accurate. It's the first time in 21 years that the moving in the right direction has risen and been above 40%. That is a positive number that will improve.

It is well established that 45% of the Trump cuts went to the wealthy. Nobody disputes that fact. MAGA just tries to justify it. There is not one post that states that I am lying. Bucshon posted an article with a different viewpoint but it did not dispute the basic fact that 45% of the Trump tax cuts went to the wealthy.
I just got caught up on today's posts and IMHO, the reason Trump is doing so well in the polls is he is actually doing something. The border is closed, he's deporting criminals let in by Biden, he is stoping DEI stupidity, he is trying to bring down the deficit, and the list goes on. The government since forever is a monolith that does its own thing regardless of what party is in power. Trump is different. Success is far from assured as the Dems are ready to pounce on any little thing. But so far, full steam ahead.
I can't speak for the MAGA folks, but givibg someone with a spending problem more money rarely works out well. Burden's on the gov'y as far as I'm concerned to act like adults for a change, then we can talk about forcing more out of the taxpayers.
We will see if there really is a spending problem. If DOGE makes cuts approaching 1.5 trillion, let's see how that impacts the voters. If it truly is waste, then people won't see much of a difference. If it results in reduced services, we will see how happy voters are in 2026.
If the cuts do impact medical care for the poor, then they are very problematic.
I'd rather politicians do the right thing rather than continue to print money to buy votes, but I get your point.
