It's not a good look at all. Even though he is a multitasker and probably does work while he's there (unlike Biden's beach snooze weekends), even sometimes while he's playing, the additional cost is not necessary to do the work and he should either reimburse the cost difference or cut back substantially on the frequency of such trips.

Obama went golfing a lot. Bush 43 was constantly at the "Western White House". I highly doubt Jeff complained about any of those costs. I still remember the lefties complaining about Bush 43 vacationing all the time, as if going away from the WH and hanging out at his own ranch meant he just let the world go for a week without any answers.
