The president's salary is 400k per year or a total of 1.6 million for four years vs 18 million for golf in two months. Do the math which is better for the country? Pay him the salary and stop the golf trips. Try to continue to defend the undefendable. 18 million for golf trips in two months is pure waste.
It's not a good look at all. Even though he is a multitasker and probably does work while he's there (unlike Biden's beach snooze weekends), even sometimes while he's playing, the additional cost is not necessary to do the work and he should either reimburse the cost difference or cut back substantially on the frequency of such trips.Trump’s Florida golf weekends are costing taxpayers $18 million, report says

So thousands of government workers lose their jobs and Trump will likely spend over 100 million on golf trips during his term and people are supposed to be fine with it because he is a Republican. I did not realize that Republican waste does not count. If Trump were a true leader he would lead by example. However, he is more of a "Do as I say not as I do" sort of guy. Hardly surprising.

Obama went golfing a lot. Bush 43 was constantly at the "Western White House". I highly doubt Jeff complained about any of those costs. I still remember the lefties complaining about Bush 43 vacationing all the time, as if going away from the WH and hanging out at his own ranch meant he just let the world go for a week without any answers.
