Not a shocker. This is kind of the I’m going to make Mexico pay for the wall. If anyone voted for Trump because he was going to release the Epstein files, they are morons. That isn’t a reason to vote for anyone. Might be about 1/10 of 1% reason out of 100? Need to get rid of government waste (ACB has been a big disappointment at times. Not as conservative as advertised), forever wars, shut down the border, get the illegals out of here, boost energy sector, get the economy pumping again. It’s a tall task, but some great things have already happened in this Admin, especially regarding the border.
Edit: Bondi actually said the files needed to be redacted for national security reasons. I’m not sure what that means, but whatever the case, she didn’t say they wouldn’t release them. It just isn’t going to be soon. Well I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting until it happened, if I were you.

The great thing about voting correctly is I didn’t vote for someone based on Epstein or JFK files being released. If Harris had won this election the border would be wide open and we would be printing and sending more billions to foreign countries that we don’t have. The Broncos sure could have used you last year on 4th and long.

They just received thousands of pages a week ago. In addition to scrubbing all references that impact national security, they are also redacting all names of victims and any testimony that was presented confidentially to a grand jury.
Is there a link that references the administration's statement that they will not release the stuff? I haven't found it. I know a week or two ago Bondi was talking about the fact that some of it would have to be redacted (but that it will be minimally redacted and the reasons for redactions clearly stated for each redacted item) and that the pending Supreme Court case would delay the release of things relevant to it.
Like you, releasing the Epstein files was not at all an issue for me in the election. At this point it's nothing more than something for opponents to harp on the timing of. I'll be disappointed if they aren't eventually released--I really don't have much personal interest in learning all the gory details of it, more an issue of general gov't transparency to me. I do expect justice to be administered as appropriate, and any attempts portions of the gov't might have made to leverage the information/situation should be rooted out and fully exposed. A politician that's a little slow delivering on campaign promises is better than politicians who do the opposite of their campaign promises.

But I can call stuff out on both sides. Trump and his new admin repeatedly said they would expose this during the campaign. I said the entire time I didn’t believe it.
Now it probably can’t be exposed because everyone is compromised, including those in the highest office.
And yes, exposing our govt leaders that were involved with a major human/sex trafficking ring, is important to some people. You want to drain the swamp? This should be the lowest of the low hanging fruit.

Probably being a bit dramatic with that statement. But it’s pretty obvious that our govt has been compromised. When I say our govt, I mean people in our govt.
Are we supposed to believe that Epstein wasn’t trafficking people to leaders of our govt? It’s pretty obvious that happened, and no one is being charged. Likely not even being investigated.
They aren’t protecting every day citizens by not releasing info. They are protecting their own.

My theory is they have some important foreign figures fingered in these files. That may take some thought and/or discussion with the Brits, etc
When people lie about things that are easily refuted, you begin to question everything they say.

If they are doing some negotiations with other countries about protecting/not protecting govt leaders, they are doing the opposite of what they said.
They said they would be transparent. They lied.
Important foreign figures should be exposed and prosecuted too. No favors should be given.
