Has Zelenskyy ever said how he thinks Ukraine can actually *win* this war?
Yes, in fact he unveiled his “Plan for Victory” last fall.
Has Zelenskyy ever said how he thinks Ukraine can actually *win* this war?
I looked it up. It's basically just "give us more and better weapons". Oh, and NATO membership. Not what I would call a real stategy to win.Yes, in fact he unveiled his “Plan for Victory” last fall.
Only an idiot would think that Trump and Vance were embarrassments today…… alas, here we are…You think that is close to the total Trump/Vance embarrassment we saw today?
Regardless of the deal, Putin had to be thrilled that the relationship between the US and Europe is at its lowest point that I can remember.
lolPutin is under tremendous pressure at home. He’s not thrilled with anything right now.
Interesting. Seeing a post like this that has images of all these X posts using the same phrasing may indicate what they are saying. There appears to be a growing belief among non-partisan foreign relations reporters that Zelenskyy was encouraged by European leaders to confront and provoke Trump. Was it all just theatrics?
He's a former comedian, so I wouldn't expect him to be very detailed at what I like to call strategery.I looked it up. It's basically just "give us more and better weapons". Oh, and NATO membership. Not what I would call a real stategy to win.

Again for those in the back…. Only an IDIOT would think Trump and Vance were embarrassments today.
When in doubt, find the usual suspects. I don’t think this video shows what the X poster thinks, but Rice/Blinken/Nuland suck. This won’t end well for Ukraine, if their leadership continues to follow Obama cronies. The nutty BS is Rice suggested he is the elected leader of Ukraine. He suspended elections. He’s nothing more than a dictator at this point.Interesting. Seeing a post like this that has images of all these X posts using the same phrasing may indicate what they are saying.
The more I think about it, the more I think it fits the pattern of things like the "dissent" organized for Republican politicians' town halls. Assuming it was a broader European effort, likely encouraged by the American left, it was probably an attempt to "embarrass" Trump/Vance as payback for the recent blunt talk regarding freedom of speech and the like in Europe. The biggest tell is how quickly the chorus was ready for the "Trump embarrassed himself!" refrain.Theoretically, to gain more sympathy for the Ukrainian cause. Also, to send a message that Europe and Ukraine itself will dictate the terms of any potential peace talks. For Zelenskyy, part of it was likely to gain more respect from his own people. “I stood up to the big, bad Trump, and I did it for you”.
I think she's right that it was a setup, just not the setup she described. It would have been a big win for Trump to get that deal signed. He's not the type to stage a dog and pony show to publicize a significant loss on the path to achieving his diplomatic agenda.
Thanks for saying this. I wish I'd have thought to state it so astutely. No, its McCarthyism to claim that people who want an end to the war are on Putin's side.

Former US Navy Member Pleads Guilty to Plotting Iranian Terror Attack Against America
A former Navy recruit has pleaded guilty to playing a role in an Iranian plot to attack Great Lakes Naval Station.www.thegatewaypundit.com
Unbelievable…. Tightening up our military can’t come soon enough…
All these “experts” who say Trump should have kept this meeting behind closed doors ought to take their own advice.
Russia has done MUCH WORSE to Ukraine in their two histories !Then get some __alls and call it a security guarentee. After what Russia did to Ukraine, seems like an understandable desire on their part.
This points to the real failure of World politics' and that is the UN to be unable to deploy to keep world peace, in what can be called local skirmishes between small (at least thinking on a world wide scale) incidents.Your perjorative about the Ukrainians is weird. The Ukranians were invaded, murdered, and raped. Russia has no right to do this. But it is McCarthyism to say otherwise?
What it really means is it is open season for dictators in China and Russia to conquer, murder and rape. No one wants to be a McCarthy and oppose it.
Is there any foreign country you would want the US to give a security guarentee to? Really a difficult subject as no one wants to be the World's policemen.
Dictators relish small regional wars, because it keeps their populace focused on the foreign enemy and NOT on conditions in their own dictatorship !Has Zelenskyy ever said how he thinks Ukraine can actually *win* this war?
This is starting to come under the Dems "free speech mantra", that says you can't yell "FIRE" in a crowded theatre !
ORAll these “experts” who say Trump should have kept this meeting behind closed doors ought to take their own advice.
Ad nausea...Only an idiot would think that Trump and Vance were embarrassments today…… alas, here we are…
They are "former" Marines, not "ex-"Marines.OR
Never bring an ex-Marine to a peace meeting ! (ex-Marines say there are NO ex-Marines, just older Marines !)
I want to have posters remind themselves about the History of Russia. Pre WW 1 it was led by a Czar who ruled over an almost total population of semi-slaves. WW 1 happened and the great loss of lives on the Eastern front morphed into the Communist ruling party, which morphed in Stalin, then WW 2. Stalin ruled a country where the majority of people used out houses. BUT the FBI was so poorly organized the Russians stole the secret of the Atomic bomb. Now the World has to live under the "MAD" doctrine. Russia is STILL ruled by one man,The more I think about it, the more I think it fits the pattern of things like the "dissent" organized for Republican politicians' town halls. Assuming it was a broader European effort, likely encouraged by the American left, it was probably an attempt to "embarrass" Trump/Vance as payback for the recent blunt talk regarding freedom of speech and the like in Europe. The biggest tell is how quickly the chorus was ready for the "Trump embarrassed himself!" refrain.
I dunno if Zelensky is just unskilled or if he naively let himself be emboldened by an anti-US cohort whose priority is to undermine Trump no matter what it takes, but it seems like if he simultaneously wanted an economic partnership with the US but still had concerns about security heading towards some sort of arrangement with Russia to end the conflict, there were numerous things he could have done besides showing up in POTUS's residence for what was supposed to be an event celebrating a new relationship with the US that wasn't limited to receiving money and guns and bombs; then attempting to renegotiate on live TV to get more money and guns and bombs.
The thing that seems to be getting overlooked is that Putin hasn't signed up to anything yet. The trade deal with Ukraine would have sent the message that the US is not going away anytime soon--it gave the US an interest in the situation beyond the morbid game of paying Ukraine to kill Russians. Taking that expanded relationship off the table and driving a wedge between Ukraine and it's biggest benefactor is a boon for Putin for the next four years as Trump has signaled clearly the US does not want to escalate the situation into WW III. It seems to me Zelensky would get a more favorable settlement with the US as a strategic long-term peacetime financial ally/partner than he will counting on the EU's military muscle to intimidate Putin into submission. So if Europe did put Zelensky up to this, it'll be interesting to see if they step up. I'm just as happy if Europe resolves it's own situation, even if the only reason they finally get around to it is to attempt to dunk on Trump. My guess is that it won't be long until Zelensky and/or Europe are back looking for US $. I've never had it myself, but I can see where endless free money could get a little addicting.
Not according to my Grandson # 1 who IS an older Marine !They are "former" Marines, not "ex-"Marines.
With the Loss of his Security Clearance, we posters here know what he knows. Which is some cases isn't very much !
I have classmates who are "former marines". They dislike being called "ex-marines".Not according to my Grandson # 1 who IS an older Marine !
