A Massachusetts Rep, Seth Moulton, has come out strong post-election to speak out against it. Things will start changing, I mean AOC got rid of her frigging pronouns on her X account post-election.
I am all for journalists like Taibbi, Weiss, Atkinsson investigating and reporting. Trump I think needs to chill. It could look like he is trying to create his own ministry of disinformation.

Trump will be removing many Fake News credentials from the press room and replacing them with PodCasters, U-Tubers, and perhaps X-type folks. IOW, the press briefing will be modernized to include the sources of news that people actually consume.

You don’t understand military service members and recruitment very well. It’s volunteer. You are the answer to “who is the dipstick?”
Military recruiting goals aren’t being met almost entirely because of a dramatic decrease in the pool of young people who are eligible to serve. Also because of endless wars. About 70% of young people who say they won’t consider the military site the possibility of serious injury or death, making it by far the most common reason.
Btw, the Marine Corps meets its annual recruiting goals. Army, Navy, and Air Force have been falling significantly short.
The forever wars are the largest weight on recruiting. DEI does nothing other than make the US Armed Forces less effective. DEI promotes leadership that isn’t there by merit. The US military is the last place social experiments should be taking place.

Most career military members recognize the vital need for the armed forces to return its entire focus back to combat readiness / war-fighting. Not too long ago, the military was the last standing meritocracy in America.
