There is work to be done across the board. DOGE is a great start, not one to be lambasted which is the stance you have chosen. Your solution is to raise taxes (kill economic growth), spend more on the Ukraine quagmire, and somehow expect things to improve.
Meanwhile, Argentina is set to continue its resurgence. They may lower their tariffs with the USA to ZERO! Trade between the US and Argentina will explode as both economies EXPAND. It's not a zero sum game, Jeff.
Next up, Musk needs to eliminate government pensions going forward.

Cut Medicaid for the poor, they don't need health care. We need those tax cuts.
DOGE is pure chaos. I am not against reducing the federal workforce but it is being done in a haphazard fashion.
Taxes (both income and payroll) will have to be raised to address the deficit unless cuts are made to Social Security and Medicare.
I want the Ukraine war to end without Ukraine getting completely screwed over. Trump is clearly favoring Russia in this case.

If you eliminate Federal pensions, you will either have to raise salaries or accept that the quality of the federal workforce will decline.

As a supervisory in Security, I was tasked with checking attendance at about 100 sites from 125 Th Street to around the WTC, from about 10 PM to 5 AM. It was impossible to run around Manhattan to check more than 2 or 3 times per week.
