Ending the tax cuts will sink the economy. Every Democrat is for that scenario.
Once again, America has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. Revenue increased significantly with the Trump tax cuts.
It's actually enlightening. Did Biden issue edicts to Meta, X, etc.? Yes. Did Biden force the death jab on Americans? Yes. Did Biden go after patriotic Americans and great parents who were concerned for their country and kids? Yes. Did Biden persecute anybody near the capitol on J6? Yes, if they weren't a FED like Ray Epps.
Biden is like Putin, except much weaker and certainly controlled like a puppet.
In other words:
Take money from hard working Americans but not from the crooks.

Not until they have cleaned up the spending mess. I don’t want the govt given trillions more in taxes until they get their spending under control. Why keep feeding the addict, before they get help?
Just letting the tax cuts expire (which is what was espoused prior in this thread) will raise taxes on everyone, not just the "very rich". I think this time around it is incumbent on the federal gov't to make a truly bipartisan and truly good faith effort to a) reduce spending to a sustainable level, b) ensure tax payers that tax money is being used appropriately and efficiently down to the penny, and c) adopt policies that provide taxpayers across the spectrum, especially those with low to moderate income, opportunities to recoup increased tax dollars through more and better earning possibilities; before coming back to citizens and forcing them to cough up more. The pattern we've seen is: taxes go down, spending goes up, taxes go up, spending goes up more. Mindless and too often disingenuous or even dishonest opposition to an administration that is actually making an attempt to do those three things just sets us up for a massive rebound in the wrong direction--if the administration cuts spending, we're going to raise it first chance we get, if the administration streamlines the executive branch, we're going to bloat it first chance we get. Partisanship and grift over the well being of the country is what will doom us.
Whether you think expiration of tax cuts is a good idea or not, what does it have to do with trying to eliminate Waste, Fraud and Abuse?
