On one point, you are correct. Despite having an extra $100B thanks to Trump, NATO was weak. The US president is ultimately the backbone of NATO. Explanation why Putin invaded when he did. It had nothing to do with Trump. It was that he thought NATO was weak. Trump has done more damage to the solidarity of NATO than any other president. This is one where I think the Trump administration needs to tread carefully. I think there quite a number of things that should be thoroughly investigated and weighed against the law, but it's monumentally important that potential crimes are identified first and pursued, rather than individuals identified and crimes found (or frankly, made up) to pin on them. We've just come through a disgusting period of very partisan prosecutions and to simply redirect it against a different political group will likely enshrine it forever. Trump through Patel and Bondi needs to end it. I think the biggest thing is to get the truth out in the open. Biden's pardons might help with that--they're a big neon arrow indicating where to look and recipients who accepted lose their 5th amendment protections (though what we'll probably find is very high rates of amnesia and memory issues among the pardoned cohort).

Well, without question there are forces behind the Republican party(Lindsay graham for example) that are undermining the peace process .

The budget cuts and balancing the budget are all performative. For show only, and meaningless. Budget deficit will rise more under Trump than any President, like first term. The miniscule cuts are offset many thousands of times by the 3-4 Trillion in debt he will add by cutting taxes for Millionaires-Billionaires.
