I just found the entire statement where he continues by saying he would have negotiated before Russia invaded and then says in fairness Biden didn't know what was going on.
I get you guys are here to dissect every statement that could make him look bad. It is possible in this statement he switched to discussing Biden, but who knows. This is not like Pearl Harbor where the US had no idea what was coming to try to work out a deal. The world watched for weeks as Russia moved their forces into position. I do find it odd that a deal to avoid this conflict couldn't be made between Ukraine and Russia. Trump is right when he says in fairness, Biden didn't know what was happening and most of the European leaders are useless.

Look at the BBC maps. Russia GAINED territory in the last year despite hundreds of billions of dollars from the West and the green-light to use advanced weaponry in previously banned ways.
What I am afraid of was Democrats squandering our treasury to line their pockets which did happen and would continue to happen without Trump - all for a war which Ukraine was never going to "Win". Somehow you believe Russia is going to invade and conquer the west and actual NATO countries. Sorry, the real threat that is Russia is easily countered by NATO. But, Ukraine? It is a fight only for corrupt Democrats and corrupt Republicans who have profited handsomely. They also want to protect their US-funded biolabs (25+) that operate in Ukraine.

Europe should have covered the entire cost. Who didn't know the end game here? Putin was always going to get some win the minute he invaded. The treasure and casualties were just a delay until a deal was made. Unless the West was prepared to go to full war, Ukraine was never going to win.

Now is just a matter of what the true dollar number this war cost us. We may not know an accurate number for a while. Especially when dealing with military assets. What were those worth? What did it cost to replace them?
Next, what is the deal to get it to stop. Zelenskyy is an idiot. He literally holds very few cards without the US. Europe is feckless. They will never do what it would take to end this thing. We know Putin did not fear Obama or Biden Admins or European leaders.
