Yep. Thanks for confirmation. I thought the sentiment expressed in the tweet was just raw emotion and not logical.
The long-term solution would require voters to be very discerning in who they elect--people who are willing to act to diminish the power of the government they get elected to be part of.
This country is chock full of non-discerning people. If we required people to pass a really basic civics and Constitution test, our voter rolls would be greatly diminished and probably for the better.
I have to believe future campaigns will include talking points of transparency in spending. Now, will the elected leaders follow through...
“There was no real money to be made with it” is the same reason stoned’s “horse medicine” was demonized. Will Musk’s team be able to find the money trail on who made what…not just Fauci? Who was incentivized besides Pharmaceuticals?
