...and in other news

You are not saying anything, just word salad. What is this great plan? You don't know what the plan is because nobody knows what the plan is. Since you believe gibberish like the Deep State, it is par for the course for you to believe fairy tales.

This is similar to Trump's health care plan. Which is no plan at all.

If it is "word salad", you should LOVE it based on your recent voting history.

So sanitized it is meaningless.
It's not meaningless when the boss (through a delegate in this case) asks you for it. In the example it shows a) the employee reads email and responds to it, b) the employee is involved in a number of endeavors and supporting them in various phases of their evolution, and c) on the surface it appears the employee is doing meaningful work, which is what POTUS and DOGE were attempting to gauge. As far as the sanitation, it's largely how my status reporting and the self-evaluation portion of my performance reviews were done for 34+ years, and how routine statusing across my entire industry was handled. It's extremely reasonable and customary.

So real people with real lives and real mortgages can’t spend five minutes to list five things they’ve done to keep from disrupting all they have?
As of around noon today, Tues over 1,000,000 Federal employees have replied to the email directive !

The uproar over listing 5 things that you have done in the last week is hilarious. It’s a bare minimum test. It’s like a company asking for a cover letter when you apply for a job. They probably won’t even read the cover letter, they are testing if you will do the bare minimum. A high % of applicants don’t create a cover letter, even when asked. Those applicants get thrown out.

I have a weekly half hour meeting with my boss every Monday. We talk about what I did last week, and what I have planned for the week ahead. It keeps me accountable, and I get help where needed.

Things like this should not be looked as cumbersome. This should be pretty normal. If you can’t respond to that email quickly, and with some details of your prior week, you probably didn’t do much last week.
As I stated elsewhere, over 1,000,000 Federal employees as of noonish Tues have responded to the directive.

How many do you think have abandoned their Federal job ?

The reporters who are showing up to work every day and doing their jobs writing articles about it/making news videos in support of the government employees really take the cake for me. I mean, they have the opportunity for severance pay and plenty of time to find work in the private sector.
Brandon and his people used to trumpet that there about 7,000,000 million jobs in the USA !

One of my friends asked me why they would not all take 8 months pay and go find a new job. Well, you have to be willing to take a chance on yourself, and most in public sector jobs have never had to do that.

Judging by how they react to being asked to write a simple email, I don't think many are ready for the interview process in the private sector. I had 5+ interviews for both of my last 2 jobs. That's something that most public sector employees can't comprehend.
Long time readers here know of the many jobs I've had over a long and varied career !

NJSP was the only interview I've had, 50 years ago. With a panel of 5 superior officers in NJSP. Basically a rubber stamp, since the Superintend of the NJSP had been introduced to me by his Niece and her husband (Who was Navy Intelligence )

Reasonable and customary is to have layers of supervision/management that see and observe what employees are doing. o_O Not to get a blurb from an extremely remote President or acting president asking what you did last week. That is asinine and you know it. President of GM to dock worker or janitor-What did you do last week? Absurd.

Bondi said she already has the files. If they are being destroyed, that means she and her team are involved.

I have little confidence that we end up seeing everything on Epstein. Pretty likely he had compromising info on people from both sides of the aisle.
She has been in her job of AG for about 2 weeks, she might have more important things to curtail.

Pedophiles don't recover with therapy they just re-offend !

LOL. They are scrutinizing these blurbs from Millions of employees. They know who or where these people work? An AI is going to determine if they are working. Give it up and quit trying to normalize the absolute insanity of this!

As I have retold over 30 years ago, the NJSP had undercover details that staked out Men's restrooms for various types of sexual deviations. They suspended the operations for receiving too much negative publicity about those arrested. Elected officials, teachers, Priests, married men, were all IN the groups of sickies !

I get it, people destroy records prevent the contents from being revealed. If the alleged destruction is illegal or improper, people should be held accountable. I don't have much sympathy for people on the left or on the right who have their illegal misdeeds exposed. Doubly so if they are or were in positions of trust. But I recognize the uniparty is still a powerful force.
Bureaucracy !
