...and in other news

Somehow I'm not surprised that's how you would frame it. That would make him Zelensky's EA too. Others might call it statecraft. What has the US given Putin? Nothing but a phone call that I'm aware of. And we know very little of what was said during that conversation. And none of it binds Ukraine.
We know what Trump said after the US met with Russians and the Russians were ecstatic.

Just skimmed first, sentences. Biden deported more people in his first month than Trump has. Biden had the same number of Mexican troops posted at the border. The Gaza peace deal was negotiated by Biden over many months. Putin wasn't at a negotiation as he was persona non gratis under severe sanctions by the west. Trump hasn't done anything except to attempt to turn US into Russia. Putin playbook.
Never post on drugs, Stoney. This is absolute delusion.

He doesn’t remember he is almost always wrong. Probably voted for Hillary so between her, Jotatoes and Kammy, he voted for the 3 worst candidates of all time, one of which is considered the worst President in history. When people say they are tired of Trump already, they have been programmed by morons. Nobody can change everything on a dime. The price of fuel needs to come down. That will take some months, especially since the previous admin drained the reserves in an attempt to buy votes. Let’s see how the economy is around early May.
May could be optimistic. I hope I am wrong, but the USA is a big ship to turn.

If Trump actually implements high tariffs and large reductions in government spending, he could lead the economy into stagflation. I will be sure to lock into long term bonds at those high interest rates.
Jeff, you should listen to Paul Krugman circa 2017, get out of the market completely was the deranged Nobel winners advice. Any idiot who listened (not Nancy!) lost a lot of money.

This economy is going to BOOM and deranged Jeff will righteously be stuck in long term bonds as he bemoans his move to deep red Florida - surrounded by MAGA - even on the water.

"Shuttle diplomacy" is what it's called. Not a new thing, of course. Eventually Zelensky/Ukraine will have to sign up to any agreement Putin is willing to sign up to, or keep fighting. As Trump apparently put it today, Ukraine doesn't hold many cards, so the administration's job is to figure out how far Putin is willing to back down then see if it is acceptable to Zelensky.

As usual, Trump holds the cards that Ukraine lacks. That is why a good deal will be made. Jeffy and StoneBrain won’t like it when nuclear power Russia is welcomed back into the world and sanctions lifted. That is the price to get the best deal for Ukraine. Trump will also insure that Russian oil flows to the world to help prices at home.

Deep thinkers like Jeff don’t appreciate that the US interest does not want Russia aligned too closely with China. Jeff like Stoney can only regurgitate “Putins BIIITch”! Puppet too.

Electoral massacre? What a joke. The popular vote represents the will of the people not the electoral college results. The electoral college results are skewed because each state is winner take all. Win a state by one vote or a million it doesn't matter. Trump won the popular vote by less than 2 percentage points. Hardly, a landside.

Everybody thinks Trump was a bad president because the Democrats and the media called him names? Talking about riding on the crazy train. 🤪 People think he was a bad president because he is a petty vindictive narcissistic sociopath. Trump himself admits he is vindictive.
Jeff, you’ve forgotten what they taught you in middle school. The STATES elect the president.

Correct, however, if you refund 20 percent of the savings, you are still cutting 4 out of 5 dollars and the remaining dollar is being spent more responsibly.

I'm for it as it gives the American people "skin in the game" which leads to more support for cutting grotesque spending (which Jeff supports).
I have several places I could find for $ 5,000 +/-.

Jeff is or will be a resident of FL. He will need to vote in Florida. He will turn it blue.

Also, I have Jeff blocked so I don't notice much of his drivel unless you guys respond to him or mention him. There isn't much point in discussing things with people who are riding the crazy train.
I am too stupid to know how to block dissenting crazy posters, I read them, shake my head and move along...

It is after all, just a post.

The is the end and disastrous result of relativism. It's like saying it's okay to drive 110 mph down the freeway because hardly anyone does it anyway. If they crash and kill someone then at least it only rarely happens.
It happens often and the survivability is low for both driver and passenger.

I can now remember many fatal accident investigations during my time in NJSP.

The worst part was the family notifications !

So much winning. Meanwhile, Jeff’s money will be tied up in long term bonds. Love the Ukraine rare earths deal as that is a long term problem for the USA. It also helps Ukraine.

Perhaps Hunter can be involved in the US investments that will be coming? 10 percent for Jared?

When the price of fuel drops, the cost of goods starts getting some relief. It’s going to take some months for Trump’s policies regarding fuels to start working.
The big box gas station we frequent has dropped .07 per gallon since 11/05

The inverse relationship between bond pricing and interest rates...

Needs to drop more than that. I’m paying $4.49 gal for 92-93 octane. If it gets to $3.80 you’ll start to see relief, because diesel will follow right along with gas under Trump.

Talking points on Trump's first month

Talking Points Memo today is about Donald Trump's first month in office. So one down, 47 more months to go. Liberal America will be happy to hear that, right? I have to tell you that Donald Trump has done more in his first month, second term, of course, than any other president in history. I went back last night, Confronting the Presidents, as you know, 23 consecutive weeks on the New York Times list, and now it'll extend into March. We got the numbers yesterday, they're still phenomenal. If you haven't read Confronting the Presidents, you might want to consider it. But anyway, Trump has done more in 31 days than anybody else who was elected president. Who do you think was second? George Washington, first president, because he had to reorganize the government. I mean, they had a structure in Philadelphia, but they weren't a federal government. That only happened after we booted the king out of here. And then Washington moved to New York City, where he governed the country. And he was pretty busy putting everything together. In fact, today is an anniversary, I don't know how many years, but of the first post office, federal post office. Washington instituted it. But Trump did more in 31 days than George Washington did. Now, Washington had an excuse. He had to get furniture. Martha was giving him a hard time. She didn't want to move to New York. He had to get curtains. I mean there was really nothing going on, structurally. But it is quite amazing what Donald Trump has done.

So let's run it down. And I'm doing this because if Kamala Harris had been elected, none of these things that I'm going to mention, there are 10 of them, would have happened. None of them. So just keep that in mind. First one is the Gaza hostage release. 24 hostages have been released. It's estimated there are 35 remaining in Hamas hands. Now, the Biden people had a little bit to do with that, but not a lot. It was the Trump people who made it happen. I know that because I was involved to some extent. I have not reported that involvement. I will write about it. But the time isn't right now to do so. But I was directly involved with this. And I know what happened. So 24 hostages are out, and that is a very significant achievement because Biden couldn't get any out. He couldn't get any. They just ignored him, the terrorists. Number two, the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE. It's creating chaos. Elon Musk brought in, all right, and his job is to assess wasteful spending and fraud and to cut down a federal workforce, which is far too big because we have a $36 trillion debt. So that never would happen under Kamala Harris. Ever. The Democrats don't want to cut spending. They're the party of spending. Now, I don't know whether in the end Musk will be successful. He's uncovered some stuff, and that's good. But now it kicks back to Congress, and they're trying to claw back money. I don't know if they're going to be successful there. Most of that money has already been spent. But it's a worthy effort, is it not? If you're loyal American, I don't care what party you're in. You don't want wasteful spending. That insults the taxpayers.

Number three, the Ukraine negotiations. Again, Biden couldn't do it. He couldn't get anywhere. And in the space of 31 days, Trump's got Putin at the table. Last week in Saudi Arabia, it wasn't Putin, but it was Putin's guy, Lavrov. Okay, that's three. Kamala Harris in a million years would not have been able to do that. Number four, DEI banishment. Democrats didn't want to banish it. It's out. Okay, gone from the federal area. And it's a skin color play and a gender play. That's against the Constitution. Number five, gas and oil regulations. Trump has signed five executive orders. Now, we haven't seen any benefit from that yet, but it's a little bit too early. I figure about May, because summer gas prices usually surge because everybody's zipping around on vacation. If there's a surge this year, then those EOs would have failed. But we got to give it to then to see if that's going to lower prices. And again, Biden could have done five executive orders to make it easier for fossil fuels to be harvested and transported. He didn't do it. Six, border security. In the first half of this month, the one month for Trump, migrant encounters, which means border patrol getting face to face physically with somebody trying to get across the border, dropped 93%. Because Trump put troops on the border, he stopped all the asylum madness, and Biden opened the border completely. Didn't want any restraints at all. None. Okay, that's six. Number seven, deportation of criminal migrants. Now, this has halted, okay, very interesting, got off to a robust start. 5 ,700 illegal immigrants have been deported. That's according to the Department of Homeland Security. But in the last 10 days, almost ground to a halt. And I don't know why. We're watching it. We'll have a report next week on it. But the deportation is more difficult, I believe, than the Trump administration thought it would be.

Number eight, Mexican troops at the border. This is another thing Kamala Harris, in a million years, she wouldn't have deported anybody either. But in a million years, would have not cajoled the president of Mexico and put those troops on the border. And she did it with Trump like that. And that'll help. That's gonna help. Number nine, Trump has signed 68 executive orders. Biden signed 32 in his first month. And Trump wants to blow up what he calls a corrupt federal system. That's what this is about. And the last one is Trump administration suing sanctuary cities. First two are Chicago and New York, Illinois, and New York State. And the Justice Department is filing suits saying, hey, you're disobeying federal law. We're gonna take you to court. And there could be fines. There could be all kinds of stuff. And again, that would never have happened had Kamala Harris been president. So whether you despise Trump or you love him or whatever, you got to give him some credit for instituting his vision, okay, of which he got elected. Told the folks this is what I want to do. They voted for him. And now he's doing it.
Bill O'Reilly today (Fri) ? I wasn't paying too much attention to him, while Grandson # 4 was in a wrestling tourny: His 2 matches had him pinning the 2 kids in 11 and 14 seconds !

This is a topic I know something about. Lil' Rocket Man completely folded . You have no idea what was going on immediately before and immediately after that engagement. I have no insight into what's happened over there during the last 3.5 years, but LRM closed his mouth and put his toys away for the balance of Trump's term.
When this was first brought to the USA's attention and I did some research on was with North Korea and posted here.

My opinion has not changed with Kim versus USA. It would be over in 15 minutes if Trump stationed 2 Carrier Strike Task Forces like he previously had in Trump 1.0 !

NK has less than 500 country wide power stations for their ENTIRE electric grid, including a nuke plant.
Cruise missiles from Attack subs, destroyers, etc. take out the plants, and exterior transmission lines from the nuke plant, so the plant itself has no damage. 100 + F-18's Fighter/Bombers for missile silos, if any, blow up every plane runway.
USAF and S Korean squadrons for close air defense with our troops. Guam for staging our large bombers: B-52, B-1 and B-2.

Over.

I live in the real world. Trump is unpopular, because the Dems and the media kept calling him a racist and Hitler. You side with crazies who are still expecting him to round up leftist weirdos and throw them in concentration camps. Donald J Trump was elected in an electoral massacre of who you voted for. Donald J Trump won a majority of voters because people remembered how he ended wars, how gas was cheap and how people all had jobs. A bottom 3 President doesn’t create an economy that decreases the wage gap. It’s amazing what happens when social media isn’t censoring truths. You voted for a turd of a human being who pardoned his dipstick kid, sold out America and wasn’t interested in even recognizing a granddaughter his druggy kid helped create. And he wasn’t even in charge. Obama was clearly in his third term and absolutely pissed that Dr. Jill outmaneuvered him and the cabal to get Harris at the top of the ticket. Keep riding the crazy train, buddy.
His Popularity keeps going UP: see Rassmussen and others.

Buy 20 + laying chicks, the Post Office will deliver them, Raise them properly ( Chicken Magazine Subscription $ 15.), buy a coop at a big box store. GMO feed and drip water and by this Summer you have free eggs !

I’m talking about what the left does and why far leftist koolaid drinking Jeff thinks Trump has lost steam in a whopping 31 days of being President doing exactly what he ran on and what voters expected.

I'm speculating that is the carrot for Zelensky--assistance rebuilding and expanding capacity and a steady market. Unlike Europe, our assistance to date hasn't been in the form of loans so this will help us offset some of the invested cost over time. I don't think I'd characterize it as a 'surrender' because I was under the impression that Zelensky came over here to the US and essentially offered it last fall. I don't make much of the sound bites government leaders throw out there for public consumption. The US having such a vested interest in Ukraine would strengthen the US's interest in their national security and provide a bigger stick to wield in seeking an end to the conflict to go along with the carrot of potentially allowing Russia a little more freedom to export energy, which in turn could be a boon for Europe.

Putin must be playing some serious 4-D chess here. Him compelling the US to enter into an important/strategic economic partnership with Ukraine was not something I had on my bingo card.

That said, I'm a little skeptical of the source, so I'll add the caveat: assuming it is accurate that something is close to being put together.

NK's military doesn't pose much threat to the US military. I think it's debatable whether we could knock out all their launch sites, even the ones we knew about, so rapidly, but we probably could have severely curtailed LRM's offensive capability. But for better or worse, Trump doesn't seem to have much appetite for inflicting death and suffering on noncombatants. My speculation is that Seoul's proximity to NK made it vulnerable and was a factor should LRM have decided to go down in flames; and essentially all the suffering of literally knocking NK back into the stone age would have been placed on the noncombatant population.

Shuttle diplomacy. We've been in contact with Ukraine as well, without Russia involved. The only thing I think I've missed is falling victim to the soundbite war psyops and the temptation to think I know way more than I do.

Jeff, you’ve forgotten what they taught you in middle school. The STATES elect the president.
I have not forgotten anything. Trump won the popular vote by less than 2%. The country is politically split down the middle. Trump has no mandate when half the people did not vote for him.
