..and in other news

Life rates have gone up 2% in the last 5 years. Not a ton considering the increased mortality for a few years. Part of the reason they stayed relatively low is because actuaries believe that mortality is coming back to normal.

I accepted the mandate and got two shots. I have zero health issues and zero fear of health issues. Nice anecdotal stuff from both of us. Actuaries don’t care about anecdotal stories, they trust the stats.

BOOM SHAKALAKA!!!!!

Rilla ... WHERE YOU AT SON!

This is a great post btw.

Because a lab leaked a terrible virus, that’s why. Because we had a horrible govt response that shut down schools, beaches and parks but left liquor stores and dispensaries open.

You focus on one thing obsessively. Most know there were several variables that led to the increase. The most important one was the leaked virus, not the vaccine.
And thanks to the administration you decided not to vote for, the new CIA Director let us know that the CIA had figured out it was a lab leak, but decided not to share that information with anyone. As for the virus, the most important thing about the virus was the moronic response to said virus.

It got Ken Snow too. Who is Ken Snow? The greatest soccer player in Illinois high school history, aged 50 or so. 4x-1st team All-American at Indiana. Ken had untreated and undiagnosed Covid and thought he could tough it out in May 2020. Really, not the brightest decision at the time considering the fear going around. Had he seen a doctor, I'm 99 percent certain he is alive today. That told me it was serious if left to fester.

Still, my personal experience was quite the opposite. I found out in August 2020 that I was positive for COVID A/B and was told by the staff that this result was 100 percent. For the life of me, I couldn't tell you when I had had it since I was very self aware of every single sniffle, cough, etc. that year.

So, yes, agree, it got some perfectly healthy, young-ish people too which should have further eaten away at future mortality, but didn't. The high rate carried on.
If people would have been allowed to (Doctors been free to provide and pharmacists not be activists) take ivermectin maybe there would have been fewer deaths as what happened to Snow.

Agree with you on the response.

The CIA still said they have low confidence, so I’m not that thrilled about the new report.

It obviously came from the lab. Let’s see if the Trump team does anything about it.

If they have low confidence, we should all be scared of how bad our intelligence services are. Everybody on god’s green earth knows it came from the lab. Fauci wouldn’t have paid off those researchers who emailed him suggesting their findings were a lab modified virus, if he wasn’t knowingly funding GOF research at the Wuhan lab.

HER TRUTH TELLING DIDN"T LAST LONG!!LOL

Two Colombian air force jets carrying migrants deported from the U.S. landed in the Andean nation early Tuesday, its government said, meaning the White House’s earlier declaration that Colombia acceded to all of President Donald Trump’s demands was a farce.
In a social media post, Colombian President Gustavo Petro shared two photos of himself and the migrants on the country’s aircrafts.
“Our compatriots come from the US free, dignified, without being handcuffed,” he wrote, according to an English translation. “The migrant is not a criminal, he is a free human person.”
News that the migrants were transported back to Colombia via air force plane and not using U.S. military planes suggests that the South American nation didn’t acquiesce to all of the president’s demands.

After Trump threatened the country with hefty tariffs, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Sunday that Colombia had accepted “all of President Trump’s terms,” including deporting the migrants “on U.S. military aircraft, without limitation or delay.”
But as the BBC reports, “Diplomats from both countries reached a deal which has seen Colombia send its own air force planes to collect the migrants” (emphasis added).
This move gave Petro more control over the way Colombian citizens were returned home—which was what he wanted the entire time. Petro had argued that using American military jets was inhumane and that the migrants shouldn’t be treated like criminals.
Trump, however, was adamant that the immigrants be returned and expressed annoyance at Petro’s demands. Early on Sunday, when the Colombian president refused to let two U.S. military planes carrying migrants land, Trump threatened the nation with 25% tariffs.
According to Bloomberg, which cited a U.S. official familiar with the Trump administration’s plans, the White House still expects to use military flights “on an as-needed basis” to deport people to Colombia over the next few weeks.

I thought you were complaining about how much it costs to send them back. Columbia just did it on their own dime. Win!.. .

No. There are political appointments, like the93 U.S. Attorneys that are all political appointments, and many of their Assistants. However, the great majority are non-political career prosecutors, and espionage specialists etc. They are civil service and non-political. Trump is politicizing the DOJ.
You are arguing with your own post.

Chances were that it might have saved me a 4 month stay at hospital and critical care facility AND 1 year of building up my stamina and ability to walk up to 1 mile on a high school track !

I am fine with them picking up their own people. Everyone would have been. My point is why did Trump Administration have to lie and play the big strong man made his demands and Columbia completely folded routine? Those are the lies we will hear for 4 years.

MTG has been fire lately. Almost like she matured a bit.

AND received $ 100,000,000 millions for their Godliness !.

My Presbyterian Minister Grandfather used to have lumberjacks come to his home on Sundays to ask for a meal after they had blown their entire paycheck on wine, women, and song !

He advised them they could eat at the local diner and the diner would keep track of what Grandpop owed !

To be fair, I don’t remember the criticism when everyone around Biden was lying.

Remember when they said he made the decision to step out of the race on his own? When he said he wouldn’t pardon his son?

They were lying about things that everyone could see wasn’t true. Easy to wonder what else they lied about.

At least the new admin told us about the drones. Why wouldn’t Biden’s team?

LOL. You are gullible. Trump won.

Columbia is now paying to bring their criminal citizens back. Remember when you posted yesterday complaining about Trump paying 10k per illegal alien to fly them home? Now you are excited about an article saying Columbia won because they are paying to bring their criminal citizens home. 🤣 🤣 🤣
They needed to handcuff the criminals so they do not cause problems on the plane. Make sense? Trump was never against someone else paying for the deportation process and saving the US money. That is called an extra win.

Your ass sits on whatever talk track is spinning to make Trump look bad.

Your girl AOC looks just as foolish on this one. Congrats!

RE: Egg prices: I like this new press secretary. Unfortunately, there is some disease affecting chickens and the only solution is to kill them and hope it goes away. But the MSM says after 2 weeks it is Trump's fault.

Karoline Leavitt: "I would like to point out to each and every one of you, that in 2024, when Joe Biden was in the Oval Office or upstairs in the residence sleeping, I’m not so sure, egg prices increased 65% in this country," Leavitt said, noting that the costs of bacon, groceries and gasoline have increased because of the "inflationary" policies of the Biden administration.

Today, in AZ, eggs are $6.50 per dozen. I remember the days of $3 a dozen when sleepy Joe took over.

Trump's net approval rating only beats his net approval rating from his first term. Trump's net approval ratings for his terms are dead last going all the way back to Eisenhower.
Do you find it hard to root against your country in the name of decorum?

People that claim the moral high ground are rarely on it.
