Interesting story about electric mv's .An old Toyota commercial doesn’t have anything to do with electric trucks that can’t sell. Add on the dealers are required to purchase them vs a clear drama queen of a girlfriend who was jealous of her boyfriend’s Toyota pickup truck. So much so, she stole it and had some friends roll it over a cliff. After the Fall the Toyota remained dent free and ready to drive. Nobody is jealous about the hideous looking Cybertruck or F150 Lightning.
Some time within the last year or so a high-level Ford executive took his family on vacation using an F150 lightning. After much traveling and wasted time finding charging locations and the time to fully charge, he understood the inconvenience of fully electric vehicles and that the infrastructure was not available to be pushing these electric vehicles as Detroit was doing.
Here's another.
Mary Anne's Dentist she works for, bought an electric car. He and his Wife (both in 70's,) went into northern Vermont in the fall as leaf peepers for a nice outing. Battery Range became an issue and they ran out of charge in the part of Vermont where dairy cows are more populous than people and NO electric charging points. They slept in the car all night, before AAA came to the rescue !
No snow, so it was just an adventure !
Tesla still only has ONE multiple plug charging station within 50 miles of me W of WP ! That's OVER 5 years !
