I apologize if this video was already posted in another thread and if I will be mentioning things already said in earlier threads.

This was the most iconic intro to a nationally televised college football game I have ever seen. I was at the game, but I am glad I recorded it. It will not be erased from my DVR for some time.

Many people think of Illinois with a history of competitive men's basketball programs and little success in football. And it some cases, people think of the football program as always being bad.

The special thing about the CBS intro and everything the University, The DIA, and the Big Ten did to make this rededication possible is that it does show the country that Illinois football does have some positive historical significance. And winning the game was icing on the cake.

I just checked their last 4 years. Wow they have been doing an awesome job. Several 6.1 ranked players. Several 6.0 players. And lots of 5.8 & 5.9 players. They are stacked for talent and may get a commit from this years #1 player. We have our work cut out for us this Saturday. Although they are lead by a senior quarterback they only have young untested guys behind him.
