Which every reality based person knows he did not, and Gen. Flynn refused to deploy any National Guard that everyone in Capitol were pleading for as Gen. was "afraid of appearances". So it was all on the President and his loyalists no matter how bad you deny it.

The National Guard never received an authorization from the Pentagon. Their excuse was that the President never gave them a directive, but rather non-specific guidance.
