The Mount Carmel Race Equity and Inclusion student group met yesterday. Mount Carmel Alumnus Tracy Abrams, has been helping to lead the process. Tracy is a 2011 graduate of Mount Carmel and played basketball at the University of Illinois where he earned three degrees. Since returning from a brief stint of professional basketball in Europe, he has established a mentoring program called Chicago Positive Impact.
The goal is for these student leaders to foster and lead discussions with the student body.
