If you think Whitman is failing I want you to consider a few things.
1. Look at the large scale donations we are getting from boosters to put towards renovations around campus.
2. He made two big fairly expensive hires that at the very least had us on some headlines for a good while.
3. Look at the facilities and work they have done and the work they are still planning to do.
He is doing great with the boosters, he has hired proven winners (regardless of end results), and he’s shown he’s willing to take big risks to make us nationally relevant again. He’s not perfect but you can’t deny he’s making a lot of noise.
