I’m curious what everyone’s expectations are for this season. What needs to happen for you to feel good about the program after this year?

To me, this is a team built for March and hoping to set up a Final Four run next year. The question mark is that we have NBA prospects who are going pro that would need to be replaced.

So mainly I want to send some guys to the first round of the NBA draft without feeling like their talent was wasted. That will require the team to steadily improve and make an impact in March.

I think I need to see another Sweet 16 and contention for a conference title. I’m hoping for a deeper run but I mainly want to see the vision for this team come to life.

Also, we need to beat Duke in February.

I’m not going to quantify the W-L record but it just needs to feel like Underwood is giving us a legit chance to make a title run someday with his approach. It’s a big ask for a young team but the roster works on paper and I can see early flashes on the court. The ceiling is as high as ever.
