The WMU coaching job is one of, if not the premier MAC coaching job to have. Not only are you inheriting the most talented roster in the MAC, but you also have a school that has already shown the commitment to financially back the football program to take it to new heights. This is a rarity in the MAC (see Ball State).

These jobs are hard because they could go in a thousand different directions. Do they stay with hiring a young, energetic recruiter or hot name coordinator that could potentially leave in the near future? Do they hire a power 5 retread looking to revitalize their career? Do they target a safer coach that could potentially stay for a long time (Frank Solich and John Bonamego)? No one really knows, but they have to move fast to salvage a recruiting class that will largely be depleted once Fleck takes all the ones he wants with him.

My best guesses:

Ed Warinner, OC/TE Coach - Ohio State
Jerry Kill, OC Rutgers (wouldn't that be ironic)
Al Golden, TE Coach Detroit Lions
Billy Gonzales, Co-OC, Mississippi State
Charles Huff, RB Coach/STC Penn State
Mike Yurcich, OC/QB's Oklahoma State
Chris Klieman, Head Coach North Dakota State
Les Miles, how bad does he actually want to coach next year?
