On Hardy: "I've known Hardy Nickerson since 1996. Our relationship is more than coaches working together. Hardy came in yesterday morning and resigned his position as defensive coordinator for personal reasons. It's a tough day. A tough time for our program."
Lovie willl call the defensive plays. Nickerson had previously been calling the plays. Defensive analyst Robert Wright will move to the field and help Lovie coach the linebackers.
