Update - post surgery.
Surgery itself went well but lymph nodes were affected.
We await additional pathology and a oncology plan moving forward.
Folks, I know none of you know me personally though I met a couple folks when Illinois played USF in football here in Tampa a couple years ago.
To those of you who pray, I would ask you to pray for my daughter (Kelly) who is only 39 with 3 amazing children and a wonderful husband. She is having a double mastectomy on Tuesday.
I am praying it is contained and this and the following therapy are the end of it.
She (understandably) and my wife are really having a hard time with this.
With Bobby Roundtree and our personal medical issues in view, it makes all our banter about winning, recruiting, etc. seem rather insignificant. Fun but not that important.
