So I'm proposing a new stat/club inspired by Brad Underwood's quote about Trent Frazier being the "ultimate Illini." I also saw a clip from a few years back where Malcolm Hill broke down in tears during his Senior Day postgame interview. So with those two guys in mind I figured there had to be a way to capture the idea of guys who just gave their all to the program for four years. I don't want to take anything away from superstars like Ayo or Deron but this is meant for four-year players who essentially defined entire eras of Illini basketball. I think I figured it out. If you played an average of 70% of the minutes (essentially averaging 28 mpg) over a four-year interval then you are an Ultimate Illini. I'll tally up the %min played each year and if it ends up over 280 then you make the cut. I went back to the 1998-1999 season (which was my freshman year.)

Here's the list:
Trent Frazier (2018-2021): 299.2
Malcolm Hill (2014-2017): 280.4
DJ Richardson (2010-2013): 312.6
Demetri McCamey (2008-2011): 311.3
Dee Brown (2003-2006): 342.5
Cory Bradford (1999-2002): 322 (approx.)

These six guys essentially span 23 years of fandom.
